Junior Eurovision 2014 is done and dusted, and now all eyes turn to 2015. The internet is already abuzz with rumours about next year’s contest. And one in particular caught our eye – Ireland wants to debut!
We can confirm that there is some truth to the speculation. The Irish language broadcaster TG4 have told wiwibloggs that:
Adare Productions will be overseeing choosing the Irish candidate and entry for TG4, the Irish broadcaster of the competition.
In turn the production company confirmed that they:
are in advanced discussions at the moment
And they will let us know more as soon as details are confirmed. Now we don’t want to get our hopes up just yet, but things are looking rather promising, don’t ya think?

@ deven , whats it got to do with it being spoke outside of Ireland .. its an important part of irish identity .. eurovision is a coming together of different identities ..

Participants’ submitted songs could be accompanied by music videos. Then, all the candidates for Ireland’s selection could could shoot the music video for a group song! I think Ireland’s national selection should be called “Eurojunior Ireland.” It’s progress would compose of two semi-finals, as well as the grand final. The music videos would be shot through July, and… Read more »
I propose to Ireland don’t waste time and money for silly contest and get focused on true Eurovision and show us good irish music.
omg omg omg omg!!!! This would be so perfect I actually really hope this happens! This was my first year watching JESC and I’d love for Ireland to debut! Just to let you know, if TG4 send someone, the song will most likely be in Irish… ????????
Will I mean, sorry 😐
I hope Ireland wipp debut! 🙂
