Moments after the Junior Eurovision 2014 final, we caught up with Cypriot sensation Sophia Patsalides in the lobby of the Grand Excelsior Hotel. Sophia came 9th in the contest with the song “I Pio Omorfi Mera”, but placed first in the hearts of many. Sophia, still cheerful after a very long night, was pure sunshine. She is going to be extra p-o-p-u-l-a-r back on the lovely Mediterranean island.

SOPHIA PATSALIDES INTERVIEW AFTER #JESC2014 FINAL

Sophia said that she would love to represent Cyprus in the adult Eurovision someday and wouldn’t say no if asked. We definitely hope to see her on the big stage in the future!

Sophia was not average but amazing on stage. I blame the Cypriot team for not supporting 100% Sophia. No dancers? Wtf. Even Georgia and other poor countries had dancers. Sophia showed that she is an amazing vocalist and her song was definitely one of the best of the night. wish the running order had helped her

I don’t mind if Sophie (that’s how I call Sophia Patsalides) reached 9th place. Her performance was average to me. And yes, I agree. I also don’t mind if Sophie represent Cyprus in the next years in the regular Eurovision. Or the United Kingdom, maybe?
