A host of British LGBT stars have joined together to share their coming out stories in a special video for The Albert Kennedy Trust, a charity dedicated to homeless LGBT young people. Amongst those taking part is Duncan James, one quarter of Blue – the UK’s 2011 Eurovision representatives.

Duncan’s Story

When I was about 26 years old, after having a secret four year relationship with a guy.

I thought maybe I’d be gay bashed in the street. People shout “queer” as I walked down the street. You know I had all these fears in my head that all these horrible things were about to happen.

It wasn’t until I was 30 when The News of the World ran a story on me. That was when the bisexual story was released to the public.
