Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS has given us all an early Christmas present by announcing they will be unveiling the entry on December 11 (Thursday of next week).
The broadcaster confirmed last month that Trijintje Oosterhuis will be their representative for Vienna next year. She will appear as a guest and giving on the Dutch radio programme Gouden Uren, and will be interviewed and discussing the song by host Daniël Dekker. The song will also be played during the programme, which starts at 9.00 CET on NPO Radio 2. You can listen to a webcast of the radio station here.
It’s already been confirmed the song is written by Anouk, who finished 9th in 2013. Unlike her entry “Birds”, Trijintje’s song is expected to be uptempo. There’s also the possibility Anouk could return to the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna as a backing vocalist.

Netherlands has been consistently incredible for the last two years which is rare. Anouk and Ilse are still two of my favs – hopefully Trijnjte will be added to that list!

Breaking news again, THE day after the radio release, on friday night she sings the song live in the tv show THE voice of Holland!!!
If the song sucks (i doubt it, cause Anouk only writes great songs) they could replace it like thy do in Belarus or Ukraine lol

So excited about this! I’ve been watching some videos of Trijntje (and I’m learning to spell it correctly without looking… almost there! :P) and she has a great voice, and with Anouk writing the entry, that’s a killer combo!
I love Dutch entries, so am really looking forward to this!

this has to be really amazing otherwise i cant see why they would release it soo early .. if avrotros felt it wasn’t strong enough the would have waited till march to develop a different song
Woohoo, Trijntje’s entry to be unveiled next Thursday, when I was finishing my exam! I hope she qualified for the grand final, and finished 3rd!
Its still undecided whether Anouk will be on stage as a backing vocalist or not 😉 Cant wait for our entry! 😀
