LTR, Lithuanian broadcaster, today revealed the 12 artists who will be taking part in Eurovizijos 2015. Among the artists are many returnees, including Lithuanian heartthrob Vaidas Baumila and Mia, who both lost to Vilija Mataciunaite in the final of Eurovizijos 2014. In time we’ll know whether it’s a dirty dozen, or a dozen delights…
EUROVIZIJOS 2015 ARTISTS
1. Liepa Mondeikaite
2. Neringa Šiaudikyte
3. Edgaras Lubys
4. Vilija Pilibaityte-Mia
5. Vaidas Baumila
6. Monika Linkyte
7. Reda Striškaite
8. Milita Daikeryte
9. Jurgis Bruzga
10. Wilma La
11. Tadas Juodsnukis
12. Rolikai
The concept of the show will be similar to last year’s, which basically means that we will hear the same songs being sung by different artists week after week — a pleasure to some, Chinese water torture for others. The first show of Eurovizijos will air on January 3.
Artists but no songs?? It is a song contest Lithuania! Have they miss it? E u r o v i s i o n S o n g. C o n t e s t !
Neringa just keeps coming back! Hopefully one day she’ll be chosen, but my heart is set on Mia at the moment.
I can’t think about Lithuania right now, but I preferably want Vaidas or Mia to win.
Good. Let Vaidas win this time.
I cant believe my country has so many good artists on this national selection! Neringa Siaudikyte, Mia, Vaidas Baumila, Monika Linkyte, Milita Daikeryte are all top level artists!
MIA U GO GIRL
Is Vilija now hosting? Or merely a lookalike?
It’s really good to seeing them back! In my opnion they were better choices than Vilija, I hope one of them get the chance to go to Viena.
The problem with Lithuania in Eurovision is the national final itself, I think that they could achieve a better result with an internal selection, they could send Jazzu, Karina Krysko, or even GJan (even though she still refuses to go to ESC).
In an interview with a newspaper earlier this year MIA said she wasn’t returning. I’m happy she is back.

LITHUANIA2015
it’s so good to have vaidas back in the game … and also Mia! 😉
the only thing that Lithuania needs is a good song …I hope they have better ones than last year!
No matter who is the lucky one, the song is what matters. And the presentation of it, tbh. Again, no matter how good the singer is, Lithuania lacks in the song department a bit and A LOT in the presentation department. Someone, teach them something, start with the basics. 🙂
My friend described January as the “month of Lithuania.” Is everyone ready?
I don’t know how to feel for Lithuania as I am not wild about this selection process. I know that LTR really want to win Eurovision but I just don’t see it happening. Especially with a national final that hasn’t brought very good results and non qualifications.
I think Lithuania could do with an internal selection. I don’t know the Lithuanian music scene very well but I do know they can improve their chances with internal selection. It worked for Austria and the Netherlands. So no reason it shouldn’t work for Lithuania.
mmmm vaidas!!!
Mia or Monika to Vienna 😀
