Get ready to hear a fiddle in Albania, y’all! The 2009 Eurovision Song Contest winner Alexander Rybak, who holds the record for highest number of points at Eurovision, will perform at Festivali i Këngës 53 — the Albanian national selection.
After Conchita Wurst declined national broadcaster RTSH’s invitation, Alexander has kindly agreed to #JoinUs at the lovely Pallati i Kongreseve on December 28 as the interval act. If the Belarusian girl group Milki win the Belarusian NF on December 26, they will perform together with Alexander in Tirana. (It almost sounds like a done deal, doesn’t it?!)
Thirteen contestants will compete in each semi-final — the first on December 26 and the second on December 27. Nine songs will advance from each semi-final to the Festivali i Këngës 53 Grand Final. A total of 18 songs will fight for the Albanian ticket to the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna.

@Alex Which tickets? For Festivali i Këngës or Eurovision?
Do you have any information when the tickets will go in sale? Have to see him live
I hope it will be just him. I love his v performances.
Go Alex, hope Franklin could go as well
I reckon Belarus might do some results fixing if it means they get an early start on a tour.
