Lithuania’s LRT is once again calling on the public and an international jury to play matchmaker. As part of its “Eurovizija” dainu konkurso nacionaline atranka marathon national selection, this year’s candidates are once again being judged on their own merits. Later in the process, the jury and public will also evaluate a series of 12 songs, one of which will ultimately be paired with the winner. Got it? In any event, Lithuania’s LRT uploaded 11 of the 12 songs to SoundCloud this afternoon. (We’re already laughing over the fact the song “Es Tut Mir Nicht Leid” begins by rhyming “capriciousness” with “freakishness”). You can listen to them below. The 12th song — “Sound Of Colours” — is still missing from SoundCloud, but the demo version can be found on Youtube.

By the way, my favorite songs are “This Time” and “Not Perfect”. I think in the final we’ll have a battle between Vaidas Baumila and Edgaras Lubys although I think Vaidas will be the winner
“Skestu” and “Factory Hearts” are my favourites. Monika singing “Skestu” will bring Lithuania to number one on my list.

It would be great to have a not-so-usual song as “Factory Hearts” in ESC…. But if it’s “This Time” (agree that sounds like Malta 2014, but better) or “Feel my love” it would be ok. Good to see Lithuania more competitive this year…
I really like Dangerous (SOS), it’s got a good beat and is the only somewhat contemporary song. Think it will be great with a good arrangement for Eurovision.

Literally the easiest choice ever. “This Time” – and hopefully by Vaidas! Doesn’t sound like it was written by Lithuanians though 🙁 I dont know why they have to have this stupid, mixed up selection though. The quality of the songs this year and last year dropped has so low :/
If your predictions are as bad as your musical taste (songs, which you chose are not the best, some are worst) then everything can happen about Vilnius 2016.
Not Perfect is by far the best song. I really hope it wins
I can confidently predict that it won’t be Vilnius 2016. Nowadays you have to be a `be-er` or a `doer`. Last year a `be-er` won with a good song and `doers` came 2nd with a bold song in Eurovision terms. At points I was thinking I was in the `Lithuanian American` contest.
The song LT should choose is `Factory Hearts` as it would at least be bold. `Right way` and `Dangerous` are my other choices though none of the songs are `hungry to win material`
I know I’m echoing other people but “Feel my love” is meledifestivalen style which as we know isn’t a bad thing.

“Take my love” is so-so…good nevertheless, strangely good. Something tells me that I’ll be replaying this. “Not perfect” as well, probably. Let either be sung by Vaidas and voila! Love from me to Lithuania. Hehehe…
“This time” is Malta 2014.
“Feel my love” is Swedish enough.
Surprised how good some of the songs are. Here is my review of the potential winners: Feel My Love – Europop YAS! Sounds like a very “Swedish” production. If this song wins, it will most likely make the final. THIS IS THE ONE I BET TO REPRESENT LITHUANIA! 8.5/10 This Time – Needs to be rearranged a little, but a great entry. Will most likely qualify to the final if wins the national final. 7.5/10 Take My Love – Average song; definitely not a top 10 material if wins the national final, but might take Lithuania to the final. 7.0/10… Read more »
Have to say Not Perfect is my favourite on first listening. It’s an attention grabbing track compared to some of the ballads I couldn’t even finish. I would love to hear Sketsu, it’s slick and fresh but maybe not for the contest. Factory hearts is also really good but might be a bit too dreary for Eurovision.
So gotta give my vote to Not Perfect 🙂
And yeah Say you love me is Mia’s song so that’s her voice and This Time is Vaidas’s song so that’s his ORIGINAL voice

”I’m Feeling Love” isn’t a part on the wikipedia page for the 12 songs that are taking part, yet Vaidas is singing that song in Show 3, and noone is singing ”This Time”. This is really strange…
