We are now officially in #melfest mood. Christer Bjorkman, the producer of your favourite national selection, has released the semi-final running order for Melodifestivalen 2015.

Molly Pettersson Hammar, an unknown artist, will open this year’s contest, singing first in Deltavling 1 in Malmö Arena. She’ll deliver an inspiring R&B – pop entry. Fan favourite Eric Saade will perform last in this semi-final, in exactly the same place where Loreen first performed “Euphoria”, before winning Melfest and topping the European charts. Linus Svenning and Ellen Benediktson, familiar faces from 2014, will open Deltavling 2 and Deltavling 3, respectively, in order to attract viewers’ attention. Mans Zelmerlöw will be the last singer to take the stage in Deltavling 4 with his entry “Heroes”.

For the first time in forever, the national selection series will include only 7 entries per semi-final, instead of 8. You can check out the running order below. And, if that whets your appetite for all things #melfest, check out SVT’s new documentary on the 2014 contest.

Här kommer den efterlängtade startordningen! ?????

I’m dying to hear Eric’s song. I will definitely support him but only if the song is decent. If it’s an europop trash…nope.

@Fatima
The Saade’s family is losing members since 2011. To retrieve the Saade’s family members disbanded, someone had an idea. To pay to watching him in exclusive behind the scenes during the Melfest. That guy knows how to make easy money.

Didn’t Eric Saade say he wouldn’t do Eurovision again, and wasn’t he quite disparaging (about the contest) in the process ?

Couldn’t care less about Eric or Mans and if my dreams come true they’ll both miss out on the final. However, I’m super excited for Linus and Ellen.

Well, nothing as a “surprise” from Sweden. Bjorkman is so predictable, he never changes. Oh, well. I look forward to the “epic” finale of two songs fighting for the throne (the Eric’s one and Mans’s one). The same formula as in the previous year. And the year before. And the year before that year, And before the year that was before the year of that before year. Oh, well…you drift me.

I know they wanted to focus on quality over quantity, but I’m gonna miss Melfest being of 32 songs, not 28 😛 but oh well.

Not particularly excited about Eric nor Mans though, not all of us are fans of them you know? In any case I’m more curious about what Linus or Ellen will bring this time.

Is the rumour true? Is Ariana Grande representing Italy this year?

Something unsurprising that Eric and Mans are singing last in their semis….and of course, they’re not singing in the same show.

Why are there only seven entries per semi? Really curious about the entries by Jessica, Magnus, Linus and Måns.
