Earlier today, in Lithuania’s marathon national selection Eurovizijos 2015, it was time to get rid of two more songs. After another week of online voting, “Factory Hearts” and “Es Tut Mir Nicht Leid” were voted out. The eliminated songs had proven to be very unlucky for their respective performers, as both Wilma La and Tadas Juodsnukis were knocked out after performing “Factory Hearts“, while Reda Striškaite went after singing “Es Tut Mir Nicht Leid” in the third episode.

The contest continues this Saturday, with seven artists remaining in the race to become Lithuania’s Eurovision 2015. You can listen to all the songs here.

Es Tut Mir Nicht Leid was incredible. As a Lithuanian learner I keep up witht heir selection and Reda Striškait? and Vaidas were the best this year in my opinion!

Factory heart was written by an northern irish man, and he apparently also entered it into the irish selection, but in the end it doesn’t look like it.

A demo version of Factory Hearts was beautiful and should have been sang that way. Their selection format is literally so stupid. Neither Wilma,Tadas nor backing vocals were suitable for the song. This is a perfect example how to ruin a good song. I’m so sad for people behind it.

“Es tut mir nicht leid” was the only song I couldn’t stand so thankfully it’s gone.

LOL Pete it seemed that way to me too – but the poll results were hidden once it finished, so maybe the other songs got a last-minute boost?

These were two good songs. But Factory Hearts seems way more like a song that should be sung by an entrant in UK or Ireland. (Hint.) In any case, I hope it gets a formal release by another artist or whoever the singer was on the demo.
