Wow! ILVolo truly deserve to win the esc this year.
12 points from Israel with love 🙂
IlVolo are already winners to those that love them. We are & always will be #ProudILVolovers!
Beverly Olson hit the nail on the head and I agree with everything she said. Il Volo is a fabulous group. Anyone who has compared them to Il Divo has not listened to them or watched them. Il Divo has great voices but they are boring to watch, they are too old school. Il Volo is young and vibrant and put so much feeling into their music. Their voices are fabulous seperately and their harmony is undeniably superb. They are wonderful young men who truly care about their fans, they are humble and love what they do. I never listened… Read more »
My winner!!!-love from Romania
M.A.S.T.E.R.P.I.E.C.E ….!!!I dont think Eurovision this year deserves to have this song!
These young men have proved that they have what it takes. Grande Amore is a wonderful song and they sang it with such emotion. They have fans of all ages; the grandmothers (like me), the 20-30 year olds and the teens. There are not many singers out there that can make that claim! I fully expect them to win it all! They treat others with much respect and are very good to their fans, always going the extra mile.
A mi me gusta Il Volo porque hasta ahora no cantan canciones enfocadas a las drogas y al Sexo como otros artistas lo hacen espero que sigan asÃ
I love this song, not oldfashioned at all.
Forza Italia!
I have listened to Il Volo since they first appeared and continue to be an avid fan; their love of music is their reason for singing. I have seen them grow into fine young men, who not only appreciate music of all kind, they love their family, friends and fans! The continue to learn and grow and their technical knowledge of music is outstanding! Their win was no fluke, it was pure music from the heart, their passion and power for such young men. They are classical pop, 2 tenors and the baritone… 3 voices=1 soul Their fans are growing… Read more »
To riff on a familiar Abraham Lincoln quote: You can please all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot please all the people all the time… Just as there are different flavors of ice cream to please varying palates, there are different genres of music to please the varying tastes of those who listen to it. IL VOLO has millions of fans from all around the world. Their concerts are always sold-out events. Every time they make TV and other appearances, which is often, they garner new fans. They appeal… Read more »
I wanted Nek to win!!!! ????????
We have a potencial winner! Bravo Italia !
Not feeling it..Top 10 maybe due to the group’s popularity, but I think the song is weak.
Fantastic choice. This could reach the top 5.
And I love the Italian language, therefore I’m glad that Italy always sends songs in their native tongue.
Grande amore, grande Italia! Top 10 material for sure.
Fantastic! Of course it will have to get a eurovision cut, with the verses getting a bit shorter. It mixes a classic Italian song with something new and fresh. I love the operatic chorus. The music is fantastic and Italian, as always, sound really nice. Serious contenders here! My top 12: 1. France: 9.7/10 2. Cyprus: 8.8/10 3. Italy: 8.8/10 4. Malta: 8.6/10 5. Switzerland: 7.8/10 6. The Netherlands: 7.7/10 7. Denmark: 7.1/10 8. Iceland: 6.9/10 9. Georgia: 6.9/10 (awaiting the remastering) 10. Belarus: 6.6/10 11. Albania: 6.6/10 (also awaiting the remastering) 12. FYROM: 6.2/10 We are in for a… Read more »
I don’t like their song! Not my music style! Their voices remind me a little bit like Croatia 2013! I hope they sing an other song in Vienna which sound more modern!
I don’t like it. My rating: 2/10
I either really love it really deeply hate it and can’t decide which…
Deserves the top 10!
Not feeling it
Il Divo is big shit, Il Volo is the real thing! These voices are amazing!
Thank you for the music, Italia!
The song is really good, I hope they sing this in Vienna. They also seam very humorous, and that is what this show needs.
Boring.
Meh!
I like their voices but I don’t really like the song. Not to say that other’s don’t, because I understand why but It doesn’t appeal to me.
That said, they may not even go with Grande Amore. I’d rather see something more upbeat than another god damn ballad this year.
Nice…although sounds a bit familiar
Would love to see this win, glad to finally see a male group with some balls for a change!
On another note, I hope they chose Turin or Milan to host, they are such beautiful cities.
It will be funny for Italy, after winning JESC 2015 to win ESC 2015! Epic…
It will be funny for Italy to win ESC 20
Have they confirmed they will go to ESC 2015? “In effect” actually meant “has first refusal on entering Eurovision” – they may turn the chance down…
Uhm… It’s not that I don’t like the song, but as an Italian I’m discouraged by living stereotypes representing us again. It seems like we’re stuck into these old-fashioned genres when actually Italian music is finally turning into something more contemporary. Anyway, I don’t know if some (better imo) other artists such as Nek, Malika, Chiara, Nina or Annalisa could do better than this song, while these others would have been good songs but probably not winners, this one is a “love or hate” type of song (as shown in Sanremo too) that someone would probably vote for. Last year… Read more »
Even I like this and I dispise boybands XD Top 10 for sure, wouldn’t rule out top 5.
At the moment it seems like Italy is the hot favourite to win, but I’m afraid that if they do win they would not host ESC next year, like what they did with this year’s JESC.
Both Nek and Il Volo are well known acts in Latin America and Spain too (I think), so I expect Spain giving Italy 8-12 points this year.
The winners of ESC 2015.
LOVE IT!
I knew it! The sooner I saw their names on the roster, I figured they would be the front-runners to win this thing.
LOL teenage girls, mums and grannies will be dialing their numbers for these boys. Its too bad Nina Zili’s Sola only finished 9th. I heard it was due to plagiarism issues smh..
I like it, I can’t remember the melody, but it still is what I would like to see if I think about Italy.
There are a lot of young artists this year, so that is fun.
OH! OH! I remember them. They appeared on American Idol before!! Didn’t realize that they entered San Remo this year lol good choice. They got the total package 🙂
Great!!! My top 3 now))
Another great italian entry.. a top 10 one.
I am not a fan, perdonami Italia… I just feel like the song doesn’t have a good structure and although their voices are good, it doesn’t make sense for a trio to sing this type of song. I also do not like that the entire song is sung in excessive vibrato.
They’re soooo young
A fairly good live performance, but to be honest I’m going to have a hard time remembering the song, which doesn’t interest me that much musically.
Italy, at the moment, for me, you’re the winner. So, you better start saving money in order to make the ESC next year, after you refuse the right to host the JESC. The latter price tag was 1-1.5 million euros. The ESC will cost you 20-25 million. 😉
Enjoy saving money. 🙂
Classy. Love it.
Good song, classy, elegant, great voices, juries will love them. They will make people remember Il Divo(of course i can’t deny Il Divo quality is higher) .. Anyways these three guys will rank high..They know what to do, they’re quite popular in Italy and other latin countries in the Americas. They’re different than the usual acts of Eurovision. I can already see them getting first place on jury voting and maybe winning eurovision, we’ll see. Good job Italy, you’re going for the victory for sure.
I watched the whole show live, and I thought the best song won. It was a great performance as well. Good luck to them. 🙂
Thank God my favourite won. I was seriously stressed out lately because of countries making bad choices but Italy couldn’t make better one. Those lads will slay them all in Vienna. They can wipe out the floor with any chosen song so far lol seriously, what a bomb. It just stolen Macedonia’s first place on my top list.
Nice choice 🙂 I think this can do very well in the Grand Final. Top 5? Perhaps haha.
My top songs:
1.) Estonia
2.) Italy/Malta
4.) Georgia
5.) Iceland
6.) Denmark/Belarus/Netherlands
9.) France
10.) Albania
11.) Switzerland
12.) Cyprus
13.) FYR Macedonia
