Aminata. Such a strong voice and the stage is meant for her. As for Riva – get back to modeling, please.

Markus Riva and Take me down is the best song.

I’d honestly be fine with any of these songs being at Eurovision, although I think Aminata or MNTHA would have the best chance. I do see Electrofolk going over well with the live audience though, not so much the rest of Europe though.

Aminata – is beautiful, looks good on the stage, has strong vocals and powerful voice, has the harisma on stage and moves in an eccentric, good way. Markus Riva – has the looks, weak vocals, looks kind of fake on the stage, bad english pronunciation, moves weird. Aminata for the win! What bothers me is voters, they have a tendency to be unpredictable, so it is very possible that we could send this riva or even electrofolk to eurovisia. Mintha is cool, but I think she is to young for this whole thing. Give her a year or two.

ANY OF THOSE ARE DIFFERENT. AND THAT’S GREAT. GOOD JOB LATVIA!!!!!!!!!!!

HOW I WOULD LOVE THAT PORTUGAL GOT AS GOOD QUALITY SONGS AS THOSE!!!!!

FOR MY TASTE AMINATA OR MNTHA.

I’d really love to see Aminata in Vienna!
It’s an outstanding song with powerful vocals but yet not weird enough for the audience or jury not to vote for it. I think from the final’s line-up it’s the only song that would definitely make Latvia finally qualify to a Eurovision final.

I think MNTHA could do well in ESC, although it’s unpredictable. But if Latvia is brave with its song choice as usual and goes with MNTHA, then I’d be happy about it.

Still, choosing Aminata ought to send them near the top of the betting odds. And it would be well deserved.

Aminata should go!

If Latvia picks Aminata, this looks like a wild horse and potential winner of the whole competition. Watch out everyone!

Markus Riva was the best one. Great song, both intense and catchy. It just HAS to win if Latvia wants to break their 8 year losing streak.

Aminata and Mntha both have interesting songs, but maybe too artsy for a show this commercial.

Elektrofolk didn’t impress me at all.

LOL. Eurovision needs new styles and songs. Not typical songs, because they were sucesfull in Eurovision history. It is not progress, when you will be affraid of new music. The Common Linnets were not typical too and they were second. MNTHA will shine in Vienna and everyone will remember Latvian performance. But I will accept Aminata too. But please, don’t choose Markus Riva, it is at least original song and it would be pity kill other wow wow performances.

I think finally Markus Riva wins and its not bad for Latvia, because he is recognizable in post-soviet countries (Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Belaruss, Moldova and of course Estonia an Lithuania)

Oh, please pick Aminata. It’s clearly the best choice.

I’m still unsure about MNTHA. It’s a little creepy, and not necessarily in a good way.

MNTHA is good, but I dont think it’ll perform too well w/ the casual ESC viewers/voters. Aminata should win and could do VERY well in Vienna. The song slightly reminds me of France in 1991 (the one that lost to Carola).

Markus Riva please I’m still so sad because of Iceland not choosing Fridrik.
Come on,Aminata’s song is good but weird,Marcus said his team has plans to do a great job if he wins. The song has so much potential, did you see his video? It’s a masterpiece. I’m seriously hoping he wins but I doubt so 🙁

Aminata – This song is a modern, unique ballad which could very well see radio play internationally. Remember Euphoria, the last relatively innovative electropop song in ESC? And that thing just killed the competition. Aminata’s song has a strong chorus, it draws in the audience in seconds, and she sings very well. This song could easily could Latvia in the top5, with an actual chance to win. MNTHA – Wow. This is a quietly brilliant song. It eats itself into your body and never lets go. No strong catches or chorus, this one just IS. This is my favourite Latvian… Read more »

OMG you would choose only the most stereotypical songs for Eurovision every time. It is female singer and she has strong chorus, she must win. No Aminata, she has great and interesting song, but we have better songs in Latvia this year. And she would be second Melanie Rene in semi-final. I want MNTHA, because it is something absolutely new for Eurovision stage. And it is important. Markus Riva no, Elektrofolk can be, but I don’t like it so much.

Super glad with the televoters choice for the final. I’m totally all for MNTHA to take the title, just a big fan of more alternative music, and I just want to see something different in Eurovision this year. But to be honest I don’t get who is voting for Aminata, I do like the song and her voice is amazing, but literally all that anyone is talking about on my facebook is MNTHA no mention of Aminata whatsoever, or any other contestant for that matter… , 😕

Really hoping for Aminata, but it’s pretty scary, only about 400point difference between Aminata and Mintha. 😮

Glad that the jury will not make their choice in the finals. Aminata and MNTHA are absolute leaders so I’m finally happy with Latvian choice. Elektrofolk is the worst choice of all. Markus Riva is okay. MNTHA is good. Aminata is awesome!

This is turning out to be one of the most promising year Latvia has had in ages. Each of the songs can do it proud.

Of these 4, Riva’s song may enter the charts thus meaning more actual votes and jury love.

The others are too much eccentric.

Aminata winning the televote is amazing. The jury has no say (I believe) in the final so it looks pretty clear that either Aminata or MNTHA will represent Latvia and bring Latvia back to the final *knocks on wood*

Wow, this has to be a Eurovision first… All songs from the first half of the running order made it, and no songs from the second half did.

I’m really glad the televoters selected Aminata and MNTHA. I would’ve picked Framest and Anita over Electrofolk and Markus Riva, but whatever. The only thing I’m concerned about is that the jury is practically offering Latvia another way to screw itself over again by allowing Electrofolk to go to the final. Not a good choice there. But I’m fairly happy with the result overall.
