Eurovision fan favourite Ira Losco has just released her latest video for the single ‘Dead or Alive’. We are pleased to say that this Maltese beauty is very much alive and making fierce music.

Ira tweeted about her new video earlier today, which immediately led us to check it out on YouTube.

‘Dead or Alive’ is Ira’s sixth single from her latest album. It once again demonstrates her versatility, adding even more texture to an album that offers dance, drama and more.

Shot in in Manchester in the UK, the video shows Ira as you’ve never have seen her — with a short blonde bob.  Her look is modern, but she actually werks it in an 1800s theatre in Morecambe Winter Gardens. She’s a woman for all ages. The fighting in the video isn’t without purpose. As Ira tells wiwibloggs: “The men fighting in the video represent the internal conflict that we have when we have to kill a relationship.”

The music video was produced by Video Ink and has been done in collaboration with Vodafone and supported by HEBE, Guess, Diane Nikolic, Magnum, Ipanema and Yellow. Top-flight brands for an A-list star…

‘The Fire’ can be downloaded on iTunes by clicking here. You can follow Ira Losco on Facebook and Twitter.

Ira managed to wow the crowd at Eurovision 2002 in Estonia with 7th Wonder. When Team Wiwi recently caught up with her in Malta, Ira spoke about her career plans, which include further releases from her latest album ‘The Fire’. You can watch the two-part video series below.
