Earlier this morning RTVE published the opening seconds of Edurne’s official video for “Amanecer”.  It shows the sun rising behind a lush forest, and builds on the Greek Hellenic imagery that we see in the artwork for the single.

Yesterday Toni Sanchez Ohlson, who wrote the song, said on Twitter that “Amanecer” will be available on iTunes for worldwide release from 2 March. Does this have you excited? Are you loving the video clip? Let us know in the comments box below!

They could have at least included a musical cord

i think they are hyping the song too much and that could turn out bad if the song does not fullfil the expectations of the fans

For me it seems all very much thought out and intentional…. all this greek imagery plus the hellenic look of edurne and the song title “Amanecer” (Sunrise, Dawn) just 2 months after Syriza won in Greece seems to me very clear that Spain wants a New Sunrise, inspired and motivated by Greece. Spain will celebrate general elections at the end of 2015, and Podemos is the spanish version of Syriza. Politics has no place in Eurovision, but Eurovision is still a great platform to scream loud whats on your mind/society/country.

Very nice graphics… but I was expecting to hear at least another snippet from the song.
I just hope the song to be really good, otherwise it will be a big disappointment after all this hype.

I think Spain is taking things serious this year! I hope “Amanecer” is a killer of a song!

I’m more interested in seeing the live stage performance actually…because that’s more important in the contest than the music video…

Jesus @ the PR stunt that this is turning out to be, but it’s definitely getting me hooked so it’s working ^_^

Beautiful Greek landscape. But what about the song? Very prolonged waiting. Or is it special PR stunt?
