The more I listen to it, the more I like it.

At first I gave it 9/10
Then 10/10
And now I could give it 10+/10 so I really like it.

Best song so far, in my opinion. I was really worried Latvia would pull a Latvia and send Markus Riva but thankfully sanity prevailed. MNTHA would have been a really exciting choice too but I respect that “Nefelibata” was probably too left-field for the masses. Even so, though, “Love Injected” isn’t exactly an accessible sound but that doesn’t always translate directly to success in Eurovision. This could very easily finish top 10 if the staging is kept dark and hypnotic. The other fierce females of ESC 2015 should be shaking in their boots!

This is a beautiful mix of genres. And her live perfomance kills, that us truly beautiful!

I don’t know… Something is not right with this whole song… Reminds me of Loreen’s “Euphoria” and we all know that Euphoria fans are not going to accept this one wholeheartedly, with open hearts. I’m one of them. I love Loreen’s Euphoria and this song kind of irritated me since it had some elements from Euphoria and at the same time it was not quiet as good.

I LOVE THIS!

This is not only a high quality song, there is something even mystical about the way Aminata performs it.

Good luck Latvia! Great job!

P.S. If it would be up to me, only 2 of 16 songs would qualify for the finals so far

PEOPLE! You can’t predict what placing song will be just because you LIKE it or HATE it. If you like it, that doesn’t mean other people like it, if you HATE it, maybe other people LOVE it.

So STOP being fortune tellers! You can’t predict who will win, who will get low place as well as bookmakers can’t.

THANKS for ATTENTION!

The songs that do well at Eurovision are either universally loved or like marmite…love it or hate it. This song will do well because the people who like it LOVE it…myself being one of them. The current odds on this winning are 33 to 1 which is way too long. If I were a betting man which I’m not for personal reasons I would be supporting this all the way. I’ve listened to this song like 30 times since it won yesterday and it has already got a spot on my all time list. I think naysayers will be surprised… Read more »

I see too many mind readers in the comment section. Let’s just see what will happen to Aminata’s performance in the contest then.

She won in one stupid country, but she has no chance in 40 countries. She would have no chance in the first semi-final, but second semi-final is catastrophically weak. If Latvia will come to the final, they absolutely will take one of the last places.

High pitched vocals aren’t screaming… Considering the kind of voice that she has, she’s singing really well, and about as deep as she can at that octave.

you guys think she’s screaming? wow, I have to say I feel sorry for you. You have no idea how hard belting high notes is! Amber might have been screaming, cause she wasn’t using some of her abdominal muscles, but this is on spot! You better stay away from opera, if you don’t like this…

I don’t know what’s it about this song…. BUT I CAN’T FREAKING STOP LISTENING TO IT. It’s my favourite Eurovision song ever, followed by Elina Born – Goodbye To Yesterday and Alyosha – Sweet People.

Latvia and Estonia has good song this year, and I’m saying that about Eurovision songs. All the other 14 countries – not worth to listen them again. Boring and low quality as always. Hope Hungary will send Mesmerize and Australia send something good.

Brillant!!! This is most sophisticated entry this year so far! Truly unique, mature and with depth. Latvia really took me by surprise with this one. Deserves to be in the final. In overall, all 3 baltic countries really stepped up their game this game by both drawing inspiration from what Malta and The Netherlands did last year and in Latvia’s case it sounds like one track Loreen could have recorded for her debut album but … ended up in this girl’s hands. Great songs always inspire the birth of more great songs even in Eurovision and thank God for that.… Read more »

I cannot take some people seriously with their comment …. They can enjoy all the kitsch and flash they want, fart glitter if they want to, but we see that those predictions of a ballad does good with juries and an uptempo song does better with televote are dead wrong. Europe has been so objective in the past few years (except 2011 when Azerbaijan was said to be on of the few that can host the contest financially and it was quite a fraud). I believe the audience of eurovision is fresh and we should not underestimate them, some vote… Read more »

@Marco – “it sounds just like screaming while being tortured by electric shocks” – this is the best caption of a song I have read in a looooooooong time. Thumbs up! 🙂

And you’re quite on the right track with that comment.

chills, goosebumps, vibes, fever…it’s such an exceptionally clever neo-soul piece with unconventional electro sounds that it makes Aminata have this aura of mystery and an undeniably strong presence. It’s mesmerizing in a way that Latvia can not be ignored this year. She has a lucky charm: Amina…

Baltics be slaying y’all. Bring it Scandinavia!
Baltics are definitely the unholy trinity of Eurovision this year.
And Latvia has a REALLY STRONG ENTRY. Finally!!! Its been what? 10 years since The War Is Not Over?
BRAVO, Latvia. Bravo, Lithuania. And BRAAVO Estonia.

A few negative reactions, but a lot of strongly positive ones. If the reaction from the European audience is the same, this is great news for Latvia because strongly positive reactions mean votes.

Uuuh. Can anyone explain me the fuss about this? Sure, it´s better than anything you´d expect from Latvia but placing it so high in your top? I can´t stand it actually, it´s really annoying imo – but maybe it´ll grow. My last place for now, even tho I really hoped Latvia would come up with something awesome.

Excuse me, but… what is this?! To me, it sounds just like screaming while being tortured by electric shocks. No way that this is gonna be the winner. Compared to the other two baltic countries, this is almost anti-musical. Okay, tastes are different, but I just can’t imagine why somebody would buy this song and listen to it on his phone or ipod (voluntarily).

I really like the song, but it’s very different from the type of songs that usually participate in the contest, so it’s difficult to predict how well it’ll do. It depends on the other entries, but if Aminata gets rid of her backing singing cats she has a decent chance of qualifying for the final.

Well, as predicted, the Wiwi poll results were wrong.

But anyway, happy for Aminata, but as many are saying, they need to fix those backup singers, especially the one wailing like a cat. Otherwise, one of my favorites in the competition (w/ Malta, Italy, Estonia and Switz).

Surprised MNTHA was fourth since she was 2nd in the votes last week.

We have for me so overrated songs from this cites by some commentorts, most overrated songs are song from Georgia, Malta, Italy and last 2 days from Estonia, Lithuania and tonight Italy. Only 2 good songs from them are Estonia copy of Common Linnets and Italy copy of IL Divo

Her voice is out of this world, god damn. Latvia just moved up to my #2 spot, slightly behind Italy but above Iceland and Estonia.

I have mixed feelings about this song. I find it intimate, personal, sexy and in the same time not suited for a large stage or audience. The juries may not get it. The televoters don’t like songs in which they may need to put an effort listening its meaning. Dunno.

Baltics are strong this year. This was by far the best choice for them, and we will almost certainly see Latvia back in the final. Amianta brings class and sophistication to her number, and we need some R&B after so many pop divas. As long as they remove those dreadful backing vocals and let Aminata be the only star on stage, Latvia will finally do well.

It will definitely stand out from the competition. So many uptempo ballads lately but Aminata’s Love Injected has its own color and the staging is so mesmerizing! Love how she moves her arms and the spiral patterns from lighting!
