Over the past week y’all have been voting for your favourite act in EMA 2015 — Slovenia’s national selection for Eurovision. The eight finalists were only revealed on Slovenian radio station VAL 202 on Tuesday evening. And, despite risking the full wrath of national broadcaster RTVSLO over their songs being uploaded onto SoundCloud and YouTube, you guys still cast a total of 477 votes. Well done for listening and supporting your favourites despite all the blocks!
Maraaya to Eurovision 2015?
It’s clear that you want husband and wife duo Maraaya, consisting of singer Marjetka and writer/producer Raay, to fly the flag for Slovenia with their entry “Here For You”. They’ve stormed the poll with 47.59% of the overall votes. Only one vote separates Jana Šušteršich and Martina Majerle in the top 3, with Jana sneaking into second.
Alya and Neno Belan, I.C.E. and Rudi Buchar feat. Figoni all finished joint bottom with 15 votes each.

EMA 2015 starts at 20:00 CET and you can watch it here or here. Tonight’s national final consists of two parts. The first part will have all 8 finalists performing their entry. Then a jury panel will award them each a score out of 5, adding up to an overall combined score for each finalist.
In the event that more than one act have the same combined score, this will be decided on the act that received the most top scores. If they’re still tied after that, each juror will then decide which song they prefer.
The top two songs with the highest sum totals (unless the tie-break situation is applied) advance to the the second part — the Superfinal — where they’ll perform again and the televoting public decide the winner.

Just realized that the concentration of good songs is better than the entire Melodifestivalen final line up !!!!!!

Just realize that the chord progression in Jana Sustersich’s song really similar to John Newman’s Love Me Again. It’s normal though, it’s just chords
