Preparations for Selectia Nationala final on 8 March are in full swing. The stage in Craiova is almost ready, artists and dancers are rehearsing their performances and tailors are putting the finishing touches to some very glamorous gowns, if we are to believe the hype. And today Romanian broadcaster TVR has announced the running order of the show.

The running order was decided by the producers, who tried to space out the seven ballads away from one another.

Selectia Nationala final 2015 – running order

1. Voltaj – “De la capat”
2. Baietii – “Dragoste in lanturi”
3. Tudor Turcu – “Save Us”
4. Aurelian Temisan feat. Alexa – “Chica Latina”
5. Rodica Aculova – “My Light”
6. Blue Noise – “Love Won’t Run Away”
7. Ovidiu Anton – “Still Alive”
8. Lara Lee – “Superman”
9. Super Trooper – “Secret Place”
10. Luminita Anghel – “A Million Stars”
11. Cristina Vasiu – “Nowhere”
12. CEJ – “We Were In Love”

Alina Serban and Andrei Borosovici will be the two main hosts of the show, while Ioana Voicu and Alina Ghenescu will be the backstage and Green Room hosts. The stage will have a diamond shape, reminscent of the one in Copenhagen. Also similarly to the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, the Green Room also will be located in fron the stage, in the middle of the audience.

Romania NF 2015 stage progress
The stage in Craiova’s Sala Polivalenta is almost ready.

The audience in Craiova will enjoy a pre-show by Ovi & The Twins (Ovi’s new live project), who will perform a medley of Eurovision hits. Sadly, this won’t be broadcast live.

Ruslana-642x361

The guest star of the evening however will be Ukrainian Eurovision star Ruslana, who won the contest in 2004. Apart from being the interval act in the main show, she will also announce the winner. Fun fact: it will not be Ruslana’s first time in Craiova. She also had a gig there in 2007.

The winner will be selected by a combination of 50% televoting and 50% jury votes. Viewers will be able to vote for as many songs they choose, but only one time per song from a phone number. The text message/call will cost 30 eurocents. In case of a televoting/jury tie, the jury vote will prevail.

Romania’s national final starts on Sunday, 8 March, at 19:30 CET and it will be broadcast live by TVR1, TVR International and also online here and on eurovision.tv. Of course, we will be there as well to let y’all know all that goes down behind the scenes.

Are you going to watch Romania’s national final? Do you think the running order favours any of the contestants? Sound off below!

Also, don’t forget you can still vote for your favourite(s) in our poll!

I hope we won’t send Luminita’s overrated ballad, not when there are much, much better choices such as Lara Lee or Voltaj.

Lara Lee with “Superman” would be the best choice for Romania I think!! But “A million stars” is very good too!!

it’s only a running order of 12 so the order will have a much smaller impact on the voting audience
I reckon going first won’t be a killer, so voltaj still have good chances of winning, although I am a little uneasy with luminita anghel being given possibly the best spot
