Tonight, 12 acts will compete in Selectia Nationala 2015 – Romania’s national selection for Eurovision. You can watch it live from Craiova’s Sala Polivalenta starting 19:30 CET on the eurovision.tv web player. You can find the running order here. And, if our fan poll and Wiwi Jury are any indicators, Luminita Anghel should win with “A Million Stars”.
For several weeks, the team at wiwibloggs has been running a Wiwi Jury. Luminita placed third. Separate to this, we collected 3,966 votes in a fan poll and Luminita came out on top. According to the combined results of our Wiwi Jury and the fan poll, Luminita should make a return to the Eurovision Song Contest stage, ten years after she placed third in Kyiv with “Let Me Try” featuring Sistem.

*To break any ties, the jury will favor the song that more jurors preferred. Three judges gave “A Million Stars” the top mark, while only two gave “Superman” a ten. Similarly, seven jurors preferred “My Light”, while six preferred “Love Won’t Run Away”.

I don’t know Romanian, but did I hear right, that Ovidiu Anton finished 3rd and Luminita Anghel finished 2nd?
If that’s right, then it looks as if Voltaj will take it.

I like Luminita’s song, but I don’t think it’s a good choice for Romania right now, with all the female solo acts we already have. I detest Lara Lee and CEJ, Voltaj is okay but kinda boring. Cristina and Baietii are my faves, but they stand no chance.
Lara Lee is my favorite no. 1 with “Superman”! She has a great song, a great voice and a professional international team behind her.
I listen to this song every day.
My second favorite would be CEJ. I also like Blue Noise, Tudor Turcu and Cristina Vasiu.
I really like Luminita Anghel but her song is way too overrated. There are already too many ballads in the contest so she can’t take it to the top with her song.

I think the winner will be Lara or Voltaj. Hopefully Voltaj’s early running draw killed their chances though. I’d really love to see Lara or Cristina in Eurovision, but I also like the songs by CEJ and Blue Noise. Luminita’s only ranked high because she’s Luminita. She has no chance at winning.
I hope it will be Lara Lee. It all stands on the televoter’s decision, because the jury in Romania will sure give Luminita the most points.
Everyone knows, that Voltaj will win in Romania. There will be no surprise.

Lara Lee puh-lease
I don’t get the hype for this song, she sings some weird lyrics, with cheap dubstepnoises and a very big accent in the studio version, I can imagine how it would sound live. Good luck to her though.
@Kratos: I am Romanian and I think we would repeat the result of last year if we chose Luminita, somewhere between 10th-20th but certainly not top 10. I’ll be voting for either Lara Lee or Voltaj tonight, btw.
