Melodi Grand Prix 2015 happens this Saturday March 14th and NRK have announced the running order.

Where are the acts performing at the final of Melodi Grand Prix?

1: Erlend Bratland – «Thunderstruck»
2: Raylee – «Louder»
3: Tor & Bettan – «All Over the World»
4: Jenny Langlo – «Next to You»
5: Ira Konstantinidis – «We Don’t Worry»
6: Contrazt – «Heaven»
7: Marie Klåpbakken – «Ta meg tilbake»
8: Staysman & Lazz – «En godt stekt pizza»
9: Mørland & Debrah Scarlett – «A Monster Like Me»
10: Alexandra Joner – «Cinderella»
11: Karin Park – «Human Beings»

For the third consecutive year priority has been given to the hot favourites: Mørland & Debrah Scarlett. Mørland & Debrah and their ballad ‘A Monster Like Me’ will be performing second last.

Both Carl Espen and Margaret Berger sang in that spot in Melodi Grand Prix 2014 and Melodi Grand Prix 2013.

Fan favourite Karin Park has also been given a decent spot in the final performing 11th with electropop number ‘Human Beings’.

NRK clearly don’t like the odds though. Erlend Bratland and his song ‘Thunderstruck’ is currently second favourite to win Melodi Grand Prix. NRK have given him the opening slot for the semi-final and that strongly suggests they don’t want lightning to strike the phone-lines when voting opens.

Other than Erlend though, the other bookies favourites to win Melodi Grand Prix are all jostling for position at the rear of the pack. Staysman & Lazz and Alexandra Joner’s performing in 8 and 10 suggests NRK wouldn’t mind sending them to Vienna.

What do y’all think? Are you happy with the running order for your favourite or do you think NRK have ruled out the best act at Melodi Grand Prix? Comment below!

@Mar

I’m sorry but I think that the standard of songs this year is pretty decent and A Monster Like Me will only add to that standard if selected. The Estonian entry is not bad at all but I think A Monster Like Me is so much better and I have no problem with the amount of ballads, I’ll enjoy the contest without all the upbeat entries. Besides, our dreadful UK entry is upbeat.

I really hope for Karin Park! Electropop is one of my favourite music generes! If ‘A monster like me’ will win, I’m a little bit disappointed from Norway because I beginn to hate this typical eurovision ballads :/ But good luck to one of my favourite eurovision countries/country!

I don’t understand people on this website, they say they’re tired of ballads, they say they’re tired of duets (although there aren’t that many really), but “Monster Like Me” is still your favourite?

If this were a year full to the brim of electro pop and silly tunes, I would agree, but if they win they will just get lost and Estonia will run over them with a monster truck.

Human Beings is a decent song, but if Norway wants to stand a real chance of winning, they have to send the MONSTER

…and they will. I am sure…..(bookies have them odds on too.!)

A monster like me is NOT a masterpiece more like B – O – R – I – N – G !
Norway will make a huge mistake chosing them. Karin Park is the ONLY song worth praise in this selection. Erlend would be the second best choice. NO MORE ZZZZZZ DUETS

@PP The artists could decide if they wanted to use the live orchestra. 6 of the acts decided to do that, and they are Erlend Bratland, Tor & Bettan, Marie Klåpbakken, Staysman & Lazz, Mørland & Debrah Scarlett og Alexandra Joner.

Staysman & Lazz for song En godt stekt pizza have very provocative video, and maybe EBU if they win in Norway, no put video on official eurovision.tv because that.

I hope that Norway will choose song Monster like me , because that song have chance to gave 4 victory for Norway, and for me that song is so much better than song from Estonia and song from Italy who are the favorite to win the contest. I dont give many chance to Finland , they are so overrated on betting odds. If Sweden choose Mariette , they also make fight for victory with Italy, Estonia , Norway (only if they sent Monster like me, with Karin no chance for TOP 5). With Eric maybe Sweden in TOP 5 from… Read more »

While the favourite song is not bad, I would much rather prefer Human Beings to win. Cinderella is also catchy enough. My other favourite is Raylee, but she’s definitely not got a good spot in the running order.

But my absolute favourite has to be EN GODT STEKT PIZZA! I can’t really see Norway contesting the Top 5 with any of their songs, so why not have some fun and send this great entry? Plus we don’t really have a similar song yet this year, so it would stand out. (Poland 2014 anyone?)

4 me 3 songs really stand out as hot favorites 4 the victory and these are obviously *Thunderstruck*
*Monster Like Me*
*Human Beings*
but i do not exclude all the others & especially certain ones..
Like the song called *We Don’t Worry* of Ira Konstandinides that is getting much hype from the Norwegians..

I have to listen the 11 songs again to re evaluate my prism of mind with being more accurate about their chances in Norsk Melodi Grand Prix..

Wiwi-blogs polls have been seriously wrong most of the time this year. PLEASE DO NOT BE WRONG ABOUT NORWAY!!! They seriously have the best song and I can just hope it wins! Last year they made a great choice, so I remain hopeful that this year they could make another great choice.
