Elina Born and Stig Rästa, the Estonian representatives for Eurovision 2015, have released the music video for their song “Goodbye To Yesterday”. They’re among the hot favourites to win this year’s edition of the contest, and we’re pleased to say that their video lives up to all the hype.
Elina & Stig – “Goodbye To Yesterday” Music Video
Their video is very Hollywood — think Fatal Attraction mixed with Basic Instinct minus the gratuitous sex. The atmosphere is tense and moody. Elina nails the sexy girl part, while Stig handles the tough, aloof guy very well. There’s blood, knives, fast cars, classy and interiors. It’s dramatic, y’all — and we love it!
Elina and Stig have recently fallen down slightly in the betting odds but they are still one of the biggest favourites, both with fans and the bookies. Will this video help them rise up the odds once again?

Poor copy cat and wannabe common. Linnets. Don’t get me wrong I like the song and Estonia will qualify but a winner? ?? Definitely NOT.
Amazing, I want them to win so badly.
I love the song, y’all, but I do not like the video. It is so distracting with the boobs & blood. The video should showcase the song, not upstage it. This video has too much going on; it even has the kitchen sink. I think the live performance videos are much better.
In contrast to the homophobic allegations against Sweden’s singer Mans, I came across this regarding Australia’s Guy Sebastian which was nice:

I love this song ,weel done Estonia
1 Spain
2 Estonia
3 Netherlands
4 Ireland
5 Israel
Maybe this is a good song, but NOT FOR EUROVISION!!!
It’s good video. Can’t believe estonians made something like this. This could go to MTV after Eurovision.
Hope Latvia will make good video for Love Injected. I really hope so. Can’t wait for Aminata to release it.
OH MY GOSH SHE CHOPPED THE ONION!!!
Montenegro’s entry is out…
Estonia, Georgia, Poland, Armenia and Norway!! My top 5, all great in there own way! Previous years i always had a clear #1 (2012: France 2013: Norway 2014: Sweden). This year i’m gonna vote for the song that i like the most in the final. Who is taking the symphaty votes Finland or Poland? Will Armenia be a mess on stage or a perfect singing group? Will lithuania reach the finals? (people are gonna compare this to Norway/Estonia). Countries that will stick in the semi for 100% sure: FYR of Macedonia, Moldova, Cyprus, Serbia, San marino, portugal, and maybe switzerland… Read more »
SHOULD WIN
The video’s so creepy…
I love it.
This is my favorite duo and has stayed in my top 3 since it came out, the video is great!
Superb Estonia <3
After a month of nonstop song selections… Estonia still has the best one (with the possible exception of Lithuania if they get their harmonies sorted out). At this point I hope Elina and Stig win. What an amazingly well-done, charming song.
Norway have better song and duo at Eurovision 2015.
Guuuurrrrl Why did you chopped that onion like that, that wasjust horrible (Chef over here xD)
Now talking seriously, this song is a masterpiece, this is locked in the Top 5
Or like we say right here in my country “Un tiro al piso” (A shot to the floor)
Definetely the best video, best couple, best duo, best voices, best everything! This song is so simple and perfect that give me goosebumps everytime when I am linstening it. It growing and growing day after day. Winner!
Amazing!! Perfect video for an excellent song! Congratulations Estonia! You totally deserve a high place..! 😀
Instead of getting bored with it, this song is growing on me more and more with each listen. The video definitely helps to sell it as a quality song. “Calm After the Storm” eventually got on my nerves after the contest last year when I heard it on the radio everywhere I went – but it performed great at the contest and there’s no question about where these two got their inspiration. While I didn’t think their voices matches at first, I’m starting to finally understand it. Then again, I listened to “Children of the Universe” so many times last… Read more »
Super!!!
My top 10 (in no particular order): Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Germany, Spain, Italy, Slovenia, Romania, Australia. I’d also put Finland somewhere between 11th-20th and I really hope they make the final. Best song associated with ESC 2015 goes to JSB’s Heart Of Stone tho, a true masterpiece.
~ Edit ~
The countries that will gonna battle 4 the Number 1 top spot in the upcoming voting of OGAE fan clubs are..

Its on my top11.. My 4th most liked song on the 1st semifinal.. Estonia will not have hard time to qualify to the final i guess.. The estonian entry will gonna do great on the voting of OGAE fun clubs and its even hot favorite to win the Ogae pre contest voting.. This song can win in the Diamond Vision and its hot favorite to get placed really high in the top10 or top5 or top3.. My estonian baby hunk Stig is one of the most handsome male participants of Vienna & will be definitely candidate to win the Vision’s… Read more »
Pefect video for a perfect song 🙂 Love it! One of the dysfunctional couples must win ESC 2015. So, which one is it: Tallin 2016 or Oslo 2016? 🙂
Aitäh Elina ja Stig! “Me ei vea teid alt” !!!
Never knew Elina would have done self harm.
The video really makes the song come to life with a dramatism I didn’t realize it could have. My fave video so far, along with Albania.
In the beginning when he is in the car and it’s raining on the window pane, I had a nightmare that Aram MP3, the dark lord of the Caucasus, returned to Eurovision. Brrr…
Seriously though, this is such a great entry and it deserves to do splendidly.
Really thought this would be a runaway winner when I first heard it, but I’m getting more and more bored with every listen
