The organisers of the London Eurovision Party 2015 are dropping the names of performing acts thick and fast — so thick and fast that we’ve been unable to keep up! Among the recently confirmed acts are Moldova’s Eduard Romanyuta and Greece’s Maria Elena Kyriakou. They’ll join the UK’s Electro Velvet and some very special special guests including Kitty Brucknell.
The event takes place on April 26 at Café de Paris. Tickets and more information available here.
Why get excited?
“When you have ‘One Last Breath’ to take, then you better make sure that whatever you say ‘or sing’ is poetic, beautiful and worthy of our attention,” the organisers write. And guess what? Maria-Elena delivers! “There is certainly no ‘Greek Tragedy’ here as the stunning Maria-Elena will grace us with her timeless style, elegance and class on the stage at the Café de Paris. You will hang on her every word as she sings with her ‘One Last Breath'”. Oh yes we most certainly will….
Among this year’s special guests are X Factor veteran and Moldova national selection veteran Kitty Brucknell. She’s left organisers purring: “The future of Eurovision could have the X-Factor and this ‘Cat Woman’ has been singing the praises of the contest from Moldova to Switzerland and now back home to the UK. Yes the feline Eurovision hopeful Kitty Brucknell will bring her ‘Remix’ to the London Eurovision Party. Expect the unexpected from Kitty and that is why we just had to have her. Mainland Europe’s loss is our gain and we have a ‘Yearning’ to meow.”

Send us your questions
As ever the team from wiwibloggs will be on-the-scene asking the questions you want us to. Just pose your questions in the comments box below.
Why cant we use English stars on the Eurovision?
For Eduard:
The previous songs that you’ve entered for the Ukrainian national selections were generally slow-tempo and focused on your vocal performance. How will you show your vocal ability in your performance this time around?
Do you feel nervous competing in the same semi-final as countries such as Romania and Greece who have a 100% qualification record since 2004?
To Maria Elena Kiriakou:
Everyone wants to know about the presentation of the song in Vienna. What are you preparing? Is Fokas Evaggelinos going to be evolved? There’s a rumor that you want to bring dancers in water in stage… Is it truth?
I would like to know from the czech participants if they will take their families with them to vienna (they both have little daughters, Martas daughter marie, about 1,5 years and Vaclavs daughter tereza, about 1 year) and what they would do if they would win the esc 🙂
To Conchita: Is it odd being back at all the pre-eurovision events, but as last years winner, without the pressure of “Can you win this for Austria?”.
I wonder if Omar from Slovenia is coming again….I noticed that he’s been attending every year.
To Electro Velvet: “Would you like a Potato Waffle?”
To Aminata:
Have you thought about your stage presentation (lights, dress etc) for the big night? I hope it is something simple but nice! 🙂
for Marta Jandová and Václav Noid Bárta !!!!!
i love your song but i dont know what the message is about? i see it as your country won’t give up at eurovision ?
To Aminata:
Will you have other music videos for your songs, not only “Love Injected”? If yes, what songs?
For Kitty, did you send any songs to the national irish final seeing as you tried elsewhere in Europe?
To Eduard: How does it feel like finally being able to compete at the Eurovision? And what would you like to say to your fans back in your home country and in Moldova?
To Maria-Elena: What inspired you to try out for the Eurovision?
To Electro Velvet: Do you think the British public should get more of a choice of who represents them at Eurovision?
to Conchita:
What are your favourites songs this year?
A question for Maria Elena: Will the presentation of ”One Last Breath” in Vienna, be similar to the national final ones or will it be something different?
To Kitty Brucknell, are you keen on being the next Moldova representative in the ESC?
To Melanie: Given your music video and latest stage performance, what does your theme signify? Do you also consider yourself a warrior because of all this?
To Giannis: 1) What other music genre is your interest other than the acoustic kind of song you have for this year’s contest? 2) How can you compare what you feel right now to what you’ve felt during your participation in the past JESC? Are you as excited as before or were there some significant changes that you feel right now?
To Queen Kitty
Would you ever try to represent the UK again?
To Electro Velvet: Given the fact you are only allowed 6 people on stage (including you two) and the fact the Charleston dance is so pivotal in your performance, have you got a plan to get dancers involved, using a video wall for example to give the impression there are dancers?
A question for Marta and Vaclav: Since Czech Republic hasn’t been in the finals yet, do you feel a lot of pressure in achieving that goal or is the participation a reward enough by itself?
A question for Maria-Elena: Considering how Greece always sent upbeat songs in the last decade, were you worried at the national finals, as the only ballad singer withing the group or upbeat songs?
I love Aminata, Melanie Rene and Maria-Elena!
For Conchita Wurst
Did you ever thought, last year, that you would have lived this Eurovision experience by the interviewer side? Do you feel major responsabilities this year as conductor or last year as competitor ? Which side is more emotional?

Surprised not to see Guy Sebastian on the list, considering he’s going to Moscow and Amsterdam.
It would be cool if you could ask the guys from Electro Velvet who approached them with the song and the idea of participating in ESC, if they feel comfortable as a duet, and if electro swing is a genre they like/identify with.
Please for the love of everything holy don’t miss the chance to ask Kitty to share her honest feelings about the moldovan and UK entries lol.
To the The Makemakes:
1) Are you nervous representing your country on home soil? Has it added any pressure??
To Maria Elena Kyriakou:
1) Your song is the first ballad Greece have sent since Anna Vissi and your song is similar to hers – is she one of your idols ??
To Aminata:
1) What was the inspiration of your song?
2) Can you bring Latvia back to the final?
3) Who was your favorite Latvian Entry in Eurovison ??
To Aminata!:
1. What are your thoughts about the Lithuanian and Estonian participants?
2. IS SHE GOING TO HAVE A PARTY IN VIENNA LIKE AARZEMNIEKI HAD ? Will she invite us?
to Maria-Elena Kyriakou:
Who will be the director of your song in the Eurovision scene?
To aminata! 1How do you prepare for eurovision?
2 did you listen to the other competitors? Wich songs did you like the best?
3 what was it like to film the postcard?
4 wil your staging in vienna be diferent from the one in supernova?:-)
I would love if one of those questions would be asked.
I Love aminata!
people, please please please ask Conchita, if she’s planning on ever coming to Lithuania, because, basically, the five of us are waiting for her :DD. at least, I think there’s like only five of us… Either way, one of her biggest fans – Ruta Lapienyte (she mentioned me once in a video) – sends her love. ^^
they should invite Molly Smitten-Downes! Girl could use that opportunity to promote some of her new upcoming music! And she would deserve this chance, since she was the best act the UK has sent in the last 8 years, and she got murdered in the voting. Show her you are grateful, UK!
