Priviet Moskva! The guest list for this year’s Russian Pre-Party in Russia been confirmed. The line-up currently includes 10 of this year’s artists, who will do their best to wow audiences at the preview event in Moscow on April 24. Moscow’s Eurovision Pre-Party is taking place on April 24 in Place de Paris Korston Concert Hall at 19.00 local time (17.00 CET).
Organizers haven’t gathered a million voices, but they have surely assembled a fine selection of voices for y’all to enjoy.
Russian Pre-Party: Acts confirmed so far
- Guy Sebastian (Australia)
- Elnur Huseynov (Azerbaijan)
- Uzari & Maimuna (Belarus)
- Daniel Kajmakoski (F.Y.R. Macedonia)
- María Ólafs (Iceland)
- Nadav Guedj (Israel)
- Amber (Malta)
- Eduard Romanyuta (Moldova)
- Bojana Stamenov (Serbia)
Surprisingly the list does not include Russia’s own contestant Polina Gagarina. She is not featured on the promotional banner of the event either. Is Polina snubbing her country’s party like Anouk did two year ago? Let’s hope not!
Apart from this year’s competition, some other artists from past editions of the Eurovision have also joined the line-up. Moscow’s Eurovision party will also feature the last two Russian entrants, the Tolmachevy Sisters and Dina Garipova, plus their 2002 boyband Prime Minister. Three Moldovan artists will also join the mix: Cristina Scarlat (2014), Zdob si Zdub (2005, 2011) and Pasha Parfeny (2012).
As you may remember, Russia’s Eurovision party is nothing new for wiwibloggs. Our Deban Aderemi was there last year and he caught up with some of the stars. Here’s his interview with Mei Finegold, the Israeli performer:
Are you travelling to Moscow for the occasion? Let us know below!
Please email and contact me. Keep me posted on your accomplishments.
Good to see UK is in the line-up. Hope they’ll be confirmed to appear. Its not like Alex & Bianca are signed to any label and are doing other things…unless they’re working with a stage director for their grand-final performance at Eurovision…
Great line up!
I would love to see Elnur perform. Others I’d enjoy are Guy, Nadav, Bojana & Daniel.
Pasha & the Sisters are icing on the cake. I want to go.
So excited for this especially because the Tolmachevy Sisters will be around!
So the UK goes back to a full European promotional tour whilst Ireland continues to avoid touring altogether. RTE, get your act together!
It’ll be nice to hear some entries live for the first time also.
glad that the uk are back to promoting again
Eldar Hüseynov??? Elnur not Eldar
Did not expect to see the Electro Velvet duo act of UK in the poster’s line up..
Weird..
Neither Maria Olaf of Iceland..
It’s interesting that the Moldovan representative (he’s actually a Ukrainian national) is taking part, while he refused to speak Russian during the national selection.
