Conchita Wurst is unstoppable — and her list of bookings and committments is endless. On April 1, just one night after recording The Eurovision Song Contest’s Greatest Hits, Conchita headed to the ViennaSphere at London’s Somerset House where she helped the Austrian National Tourist Office get Londoners excited about Vienna. After performing “Rise Like a Phoenix” and “You Are Unstoppable”, she got cozy with wiwibloggs to tell us about her forthcoming biography and album — both named “Conchita”.
A highlight of the Greatest Hits show is Conchita singing alongside Dana International. “So many people were waiting for that moment, so it was really exciting for me as well,” she says. “It was just overwhelming to be at this event.”

Conchita also says her book, which comes out in mid-May will include details of her life post-Eurovision. “I’m too outspoken,” she says. “I should have kept some secrets for the book! But there will be things that people don’t know.”
As for her much-anticipated album, Conchita says she will include a few dance numbers: “There will definitely be some uptempo songs, which was quite hard because I’m not good at singing uptempo songs. If you sing uptempo songs you have to be kinda cool. We figured out I’m not good at being cool. But I’m quite good at being sexy, and that kinda works.”
The tracklist bounces between two themes: “It’s about finding yourself or sleeping with someone.”
