It’s party time! Eurovision preview season is about to kick off, with events scheduled for Amsterdam, London, and Moscow. But the fun begins in Latvia this Friday, 10 April. OGAE Latvia are hosting the second annual Eurovision Pre-Party Riga. Last year’s event attracted Conchita Wurst and Donatan & Cleo, and the 2015 edition is equally star-studded. So far eight acts have been confirmed, including four legends of contests past.
Melanie René, Nina Sublatti, Aminata and Monika & Vaidas are set to perform, as are Eldar Gasimov, Alexander Rybak, Marie N, and Zlata Ognevich. The team from wiwibloggs will be on location and we want to ask the stars your questions. So review the acts below, and share your questions in the comments. Have you and Michael Nekrasov considered teaming up with a native English speaker who could write lyrics for new songs for you? Micheal is a great composer, no doubt, but to go beyond the Ukrainian market you need new songs in English, not just Ukrainian or Russian. And that seems to be an issue.

Aminata, I just love your song. Just hope you reach the top 5 and, who knows, bring back the trophy to Riga. I’m impressed. Never listened a song that gets as stuck in my head as your song does. But I know that it isn’t a typical song, it makes me wonder something I’m about to ask you. All the acts listed are as per the official Eurovision Pre-Party Riga 2015 website ( http://eurovisionparty.lv/ ) . We have not deliberately left out Monika. We’ve reached out to the organisers for confirmation, and will update this article as new acts are announced.
