Edurne won’t be alone on stage in Vienna, y’all! RTVE has just announced that the Spanish representative will bring dancer Giuseppe Di Bella with her to Vienna. He is, of course, the rather unforgettable man who danced in the rain with Ruth Lorenzo in her music video last year!
When Ruth released her video for “Dancing In The Rain“, she impressed everyone with her dancing skills and with her wet, handsome partner. After that, we were all hoping that Ruth would recreate the video on stage in Copenhagen — and with Giuseppe the Beautiful. Unfortunately that didn’t happen, but roll on 2015!
Giuseppe is a 28-year-old Italian dancer who has gained a following thanks to Ruth’s video and his work in Tu Cara Me Suena (Your Face Sounds Familiar). As you may recall, Edurne also took part on the third edition of that show (which she would go on to win). Did Giuseppe dance for Edurne at some point on the program? Bingo! In fact, he was part of one of Edurne’s best known performances, in which she mimicked P!nk’s “Try”. With all the dance moves and the pirouettes, of course.
With only a week to prepare for the performance and with a song that wasn’t hers, Edurne absolutely slayed! So, imagine what may happen in Vienna with her own ‘Amanecer’ and two months of rehearsals…
Edurne triggered some drama amongst the Spanish fans and media because of her so-so performance last Monday in Alaska y Segura. Hopefully, that will prove to be just a little blunder and she’ll manage to pull a fiery performance in Vienna.
At the moment, we can only imagine how Spain’s performance will look like, as RTVE hasn’t revealed any further details. How do you picture the perfect staging for Edurne? Tell us below!

Even Celine Dion or Mariah Carey that are considered the best vocalists singers of the world had many performances that were mesed up… Edurne was very nervous that night and the fact that she didn’t have any space to move to be able supporting her uptempo song was too hard for her to manage singing with her true real voice.. This woman is so perfect! She did it very well!!! This is a proof that she will do a performance in a perfect way in Vienna. If she can sing like this and dance at the same time (with only a week for preparing it), I’m sure she will do it excellent in May. She’s growing in my top! (Top 3)
