Remix season continues, this time with an unofficial mix of Måns Zelmerlöw‘s “Heroes”. The original version is pretty danceable as it is, but this version, by Swedish producer Ville Koski aka Vanity In Mind, adds to the existing beats of the song, transforming it into a proper club stomper.

In his press release, Ville accurately explains that his “Heroes” remix “converts the bustling pop tune into a moody house anthem, combining Måns Zelmerlöw’s powerful and emotive vocals with a trancy big room synth riff.”

The song keeps much of Måns’ vocals, and adds instrumental sections to stretch out the song to a luxurious 5:37. It particularly makes a feature of the twangy guitar from the intro, sending it deep, bassy realms. Oh yeah.

Måns Zelmerlöw – “Heroes” (Vanity In Mind remix)

What do you think of this remix? Is it going on your playlist? Does Måns need to release an official remix of “Heroes”?

Remix season continues? I love hearing remixes but I only know of Serbia & Cyprus. What other mixes have been released? Unofficial remixes don’t count.

BTW this Heroes remix sounds slower & the removal of the “oh way oh” takes away a big part of the hook.

From a rational point of view “Heroes” is weaker version of Eric Saade – “Popular”. In this situation Sweden should be closer to 5th place than 1st place. This is a rational prediction.
