Her performance is decent. She’s having a bit of trouble on the low notes. But yeah, unlike those two videos from Spain, I DO have to call out the audio mix on this one – it’s not flattering to her voice at all. The YouTube video’s audio is in mono, so I assume it sounded a little better when it was broadcast in stereo. This is the wrong song to showcase her voice, I said that from the very beginning. It is too fast and it is more of a whispering kind of love song. In order to show off she overdoes every single syllable. I am sorry but I don’t think this will have much impact in a contest where so many other songs are vying for attention. By the end of the evening, it will not stick into most people’s mind.

i read the comments down below and few were an agenda bcs there is no professional argument about it ,you guys bare in mind we all have ears and we can feel a good performance,imo i thought her rendition and performance was really beautiful and powerful,imo there was no band,no back,and definitely no sound either from the speakers and a poor mic altogether in 1 word useless stage yet she gave everything and for that i know she will rock come May 19,\o/.
I don’t get the critics of some people here??!! Her voice in the performance is great, this is a very difficult song because has high notes and it’s too fast. This live wasn’t Eurovision minding she did as a thank you for the show that permitted her to film the clip Albanian version of the song there. In Eurovision she will have the base, 3 female backvocals and a really nice staging. She said they’re trying to come up with something powerful. The microphone is very poor quality, and this version of the song lacks impact, but i do have high hopes for Albania come May. With good staging and no hiccups vocally, this is a strong contender for the Top 10.

Only the beginning is boring, the rest of the song is spot on! Vocals for sure, luckily in Eurovision she’ll have her backup singers and pre-recorded instruments, because here it’s hard to hear her actually sing. Plus the staging will probably be very fitting for the song. Top 10 for sure 😀

? think people -and albanian people especially- have unrealistic expectations from this song. It is a sympathetic pop production, quite nice to listen to on the radio. However during a live contest I don’t think it will make that much of an impression. Ultimately forgettable.
The meaning of the song is that you are willing to do sacrifices in your life 4 true gay love.. <3 I would personally.. At first i was not really so impressed about *Im Alive* but now it has grown on me much…Its my 3rd most liked on the 1st semifinal & in my top10 overall.. Elhaida if delivers a strong powerfull performance will definitely not have hard time getting the qualifying ticket 4 the big final..
