Some say Amsterdam is the city of bicycles. Other say it’s the city of weed. But we say it’s the city of Eurovision in Concert! Last weekend, wiwibloggs attended the memorable concert and snagged a few interviews along the way. Today it’s time to hear what the Norwegian duet Mørland and Debrah Scarlett have to say. The couple talk about how they first met, their collaboration with a Norwegian fashion designer for their stage outfit and the concept behind the song. They also chat about the making of their marvelous video whilst trying to pinpoint the sound in Debrah’s stunning, mysterious voice. From frailty to food fights, they have an opinion on everything — and we love them for it!
People here dislike Estonia, Norway, Italy, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Albania, Australia, Spain and Slovenia all potential winners. What’s happening here? Do you all think that songs from Latvia, UK or Ireland really can win ?
There’s a worrying gap between the unquestionable musical qualities of a quite beautiful song, and Deborah’s shaky vocals and the rather “flat” nature of the on stage performances so far. Do they have an ace up their sleeve for the Vienna stage?? Think of that glass cubed box of Azerbaijan in 2013….it needs a visual hook that sells the song. If they find it, it may come crashing down from 20-1 to about 4-1, just like Conchita and the Common Linnets in 2014…….I hope they can do it. The song is pure quality and beats that Swedish dross ten times… Read more »
Even among all the other ballads this song does stand out and could be a potential winner
Win or lose, This song and the performance should definitely keep Norway in the top 10 for a 3rd-straight year. I have evaluated all 40 songs and videos twice (on 10 criteria), and Mørland and Debrah were in the top 10 each time.
Norways song is not good for victory. Its one of manny boring song this year. I hope they not going to the final
They look so good together. Full of charisma. Wouldn’t have anything against if they win (but I don’t know if that will happen).
@ Nicky..
Well i have my doubts about : Belarus,Moldova,FYR,Serbia,Holland & Denmark on the 1st SF & already wrote about which countries on the 2nd SF..
Yeah…There are severals not great songs that are serious threat 4 Amber…I truly think that she will not gonna miss the final if she delivers a cool performance..
Original propuesta la de Noruega este año,yo estoy seguro que este acto estara en la final del 23 de mayo, salvo una monstruosa catastrofe.
@Mario, thank you and i’m also concerned for Norway, because some people say their not feeling the song during a live performance.
but luckily for Norway and Malta, that they are in a semi final with a lot of bland and boring acts.
@Mario, what countries are you not certain of?
Yeah Nicky i want that too but i do not really think at all that my 20 own favorites from both semifinals will all qualify to the final…I will be satisfied if i get right the 12-15 from the 20.. I even worry about Norway too on the SF as with a bad/dreadful performance it will go down with the juries & even might miss the final & gets eliminated on the semi.. I’m only 100% sure about Sweden’s qualification to the final.. 4 Estonia too on the 1st SF.. Italy would qualify 100% as well if was competing to… Read more »
@ Bravo Nicky that you don’t spam anymore as you did…Good 4 you 🙂
We saved you & took the ”Monster” out of you & now you are one of us dude 🙂 hehe
Yeah i agree…I do not expect Poland{unfortunately..},Portugal & San Marino{although i have SM as my 9th most liked song on the SF} to qualify to the final..
Cyprus,Switzerland & Ireland too..
@Mario, well i don’t care who wins, just that i get to see all the right acts are in the final. and if it’s Norway as a winner , a really good song which is growing on me.
my favourites from other years were:
Nikki&Ell – Running Scared
Krista Siegfrids – Marry Me
Ivi Adamou – La La Love
Moje 3 – Ljubav es Svuda ( or the serbian entry from 2013 )
Norway’s song is currently my 2nd most liked on the 2nd semifinal & overall in my top5 <3 🙂
I believe that Morland with Scarlett can score a fantastic result in Vienna…Even to win.. 🙂
I consider Norway as one of the candidates 4 the victory <3 🙂
#Bergen2016 possibly… 🙂
The Vision can return again to Norway after only 6 years 🙂
they have a good song though. and 10 will qualify for the final, so that makes it easier, to pick the right songs. and this is definitely not one of the 7 worst. which i believe the no qualify’s: Poland, Portugal, for me San Marino.
so i got some hopes for Norway, if they can do a good live performance, which i don’t know.
Wow they’ve got a great personality. She looks so pale though, I thought it was just the name up making her look so pale on stage.
