Norway, Morland, 3

Mørland and Debrah Scarlett are in it to win it! The duo have recently revealed their four backing vocalists. The announcement was made through the Melodi Grand Prix official FaceBook page.

Med fire korister som aldri har sunget sammen før, var alle litt spente før dagens første prøver. Men dette gikk over all forventning. Bring it on, Vienna!

The translation is as follows:

With four backing singers who have never sung together before, it was all a little tense before the day’s first try. But this went beyond all expectations. Bring it on, Vienna!

Norway have been considered a front runner in the race for Eurovision glory since their selection back in March. There dark song “A Monster Like Me”. It marks the second consecutive year Norway have sent a heartfelt ballad after Carl Espen brought Copenhagen to tears with “Silent Storm“.

Methinks they should leave the song the way it is, lest they make it any worse by adding backup singers. And they are among my top 10.

Last year’s song was good. But it was only good.

This year’s song is outstanding and only outstanding.

I still believe Norway will be victorious this year.

This song could win….no doubt that musically it is possibly the best composition in the whole contest. BUT: 1. Can she not hear in her head the note she needs to deliver?? It needs to land like an arrow. He, of course, is superb throughout. 2. My favorite song this year after listen preview of song before MGP, but I m disapointed ih her voice and stage performance at MGP 2015 final, not good live vocals, wrong hair, not good dress.

I’m afraid of her vocals, so that’s a good decision, sometimes her pitch is not the correct so the vocals can help. Love the song and love his Voice (more warm than hers, well everything about her is kindy frozen)…

Good idea, because the stage will be more normal than it was last year in Copenhagen. And that’s why performances must look also more normal, because here is no chance for similar tricks and effects.

2 options here to choose from.. A) For a visionary song like *Haba Haba* of 2011 going to Number #1 on Norway’s charts but bombing in EuroVision with not even qualifying to the final alone…{and its Norway that we are talking about & not some other less popular country that mostly never or rarely qualifies to the final..} OR.. G(ay) ~ A visionary song like *Monster Like Me* going to poor #24 on Norway’s charts though BUT be much loved by us eurofans, doing great on the OGAE voting, considered one of the hot favorites to win the Vision & possibly WINNING… Read more »
