Männer (Men), Germany’s most-read gay lifestyle magazine, has put Azerbaijan’s Eurovision 2015 star Elnur Huseynov on the cover of its May issue. It’s not just because plenty of readers find him attractive. It’s because editors at the mag believe Elnur and his song “Hour of the Wolf” deserve to win.
“In the May issue of MEN it’s all about the Sausage – and her potential successors,” they write of reigning winner Conchita Wurst. And who might that be? The cover gives you a major clue. They also praise Elnur’s ability to work five and a half octaves — just like Mariah Carey.
Note: Elnur himself is not gay, but is supportive of all people. He didn’t realise that he’d appear in the magazine or on the front of it. Here’s a Tweet he sent to wiwibloggs:

Even though he didn’t win, he’s can be more successful than any of the contestants on this show. He’s young, telanted and unique. He is WOLF!

I had feeling at 2008 that this is not the last time we are seeing this guy on stage and his returning (except all his performances elsewhere) is pretty thrilling. With more confidence and such fire in his song! Hope to see him in finale

absolute death at Azerbaijan paying gay magazines !!! How is it possible that readers of the magazine find him attractive? He’s cute but nothing spectacular. Plus, he’s not a favorite act to win so what’s the fuss? This is so suspicious just like the sudden rise in views for Azerbajan’s music video on Eurovision youtube channel.

I have to say, I do find Elnur quite attractive this time around, in 2008 he was a joke act though in my opinion. Nice to see he has matured into a fine young man 😀 definitely someone I’d take home to meet the parents. Song wise, it sounds remarkably like Queen’s “Who Wants To Live Forever” which, considering Elnur’s vocal capacity, is probably the fan base they want to target.
