On March 29 we asked our readers to vote for the acts they feel are most deserving to win Eurovision 2015. As of May 10 at 13:00 GMT, we had collected a total of 95,600 votes. At the moment seven acts have managed to crack 5,000 votes. Leading the way is Albania’s Elhaida Dani, the winner of The Voice of Italy. She’s earned an impressive 14,652 votes. She’s been a busy lady since our last update – releasing an Albanian version of “I’m Alive” and previewing her Eurovision outfit. Elhaida’s in it to win it!
Currently coming a distant second is our favourite WAG, Spain’s Edurne. Her boyfriend’s Manchester United may be struggling in the Premier League but she is slaying! Hanging with ambassadors, recording symphonic versions of “Amancer”, she’s werking it with 7,386 votes.
Italy’s Il Volo are hot on the Spanish señorita’s heels. At 7,147 votes, they’re just over 200 behind. Not only are the trio preparing for Eurovision, they also found time to release a new single “Canzone Per Te” and record a rap version of “Grand Amore”.
The other four members of the 5,000 plus club are Iceland’s Maria Olaf, Sweden’s Måns Zelmerlöw, Ireland’s Molly Sterling and Georgia’s Nina Sublatti.
At the other end of the spectrum we have Montenegro, Austria, Finland, Cyprus, Denmark, San Marino and Moldova. These acts all of these languish at around the 700 vote mark.
You can see the current standings below. This poll will remain open until May 22 — the day before this year’s Eurovision 2015 final. You can vote here if you haven’t already done so.

Alex:Slovenia,Albania,Azerbajdzjan, Georgien, Lettland,Russia and Australia are nott gonna win. They cant sing, and the song its flat. Its Awful song. If Russia should win, i hope no coutry should be in Russia next year.
After 12 days (or should I say, 12 nights, deep in the early-A.M. hours), I have just finished my 3rd and final series of evaluations. As always, I use 10 criteria (5 for the song and 5 for the music video, or live performance for artists without a video).
These are my top 10, as we head for the contest:
9.66 Italy (9.60/9.72)
9.55 Montenegro (9.56/9.54)
9.55 Estonia (9.46/9.64)
9.54 Lithuania (9.64/9.44)
9.53 Romania (9.46/9.60)
9.52 Sweden (9.58/9.46)
9.50 Hungary (9.46/9.54)
9.49 Australia (9.48/9.50)
9.49 Norway (9.48/9.50)
9.46 Ireland (9.48/9.44)
Guys seriously you made me to leave a comment in this site! Is my first time that i comment in an esc’s blog, so PLEASE enough with this guy from sweden! Is ridiculous how many of you like this “joke” song. First of all the winner of esc should have a PERSONALITY, this guy has nothing, and also his thoughts about the gay people etc are completely disgusting! We should make a worldwide stars with eurovision! No winners that the just get lost after 1-2 years! The song just a pop trash, with a very simple melody. His voice one… Read more »
My Top 3:
1.Albania <3
2.Italy
3.Sweden
Last year Sweden and Armenia were real favourites, and the fight was between them, everybody knew that the winner will be one of them, but they didn’t win. I think the same will happen this time. I like Sweden song, but it will not win, sorry but I think Albania and Spain, Norway haven’t chances. In my opinion winner will be Australia or Slovenia. I like that songs. So, another possible winner for me is Armenia, yes I am happy honest, this song is enough cool, message is powerful and that’s why maybe it will win. OK, sorry if I have… Read more »
They* are in my head
Sorry for the little mistake 🙂
OMG! This top 3 is perfect!! (My favourites so far) but too much utopian at the same time! Overrated? I think not 1) Albania (my country): Perfect voice, powerfull and likeable song, charismatic singer. Remember in 2012 when we achieved a fifth place with Rona and her terrible song O.o Elhaida sings, Rona just screamed and I still wonder how that song did better than Nina Zilli (best Italian entry IMO) Pastora Soler (one of the most beautiful ballads I’ve ever heard) Ivi Adamou and the romanian group (I don’t remember the name right now) Two incredibily catchy songs. Of… Read more »
MY TOP 5
1.ITALY
2.GREECE
3.ESTONIA
4.SWEDEN
5.SLOVENIA
Lasse Ruud: Norway are NOT gonna win. She cant sing. And the song is so BOOOOOOOORING. So i follow to sleep. Iceland YES.
Slovenia will win for sure, like Germany with Lena Meyer-Landrut in 2010
I have a feeling Albania will win this year, It’s an unpredictable year with an unpredictable winner just like 2011 & 2007. Both years the predicted countries (Sweden, Hungary, Estonia in 2011 & Belarus, Ukraine & Russia in 2007) of those years either came close or just failed to do as promised so I can see a random country like as I said Albania or maybe even Norway could take the title in my opinion and I wouldn’t mind either country winning
I don’t think Albania will win, or that Spain and Iceland will break top 5 at all. I think the OGAE top 10 is quite reasonable, with some minor changes it could turn out to be an accurate prediction.
My personal top 10:
1) Italy
2) Sweden
3) Albania
4) Belgium
5) Spain
6) Slovenia
7) Azerbaijan
8) Israel
9) Montenegro
10) Norway
Top 5 from Serbia 😀
1:Norway
2:Sweden
3:Estonia
4:Slovenia
5:Azerbaijan
Per u r a idiot. Sweden will NOT winn. Hope iceland or Norway will vinn.
This will be the top 10 finish in the final 🙂
1. Italy 261
2. Sweden 258
3. Estonia 188
4. Norway 156
5. Slovenia 149
6. Russia 106
7. Spain 100
8. Azerbaijan 95
9. Australia 92
10. Romania 81
Here is my prediction for final of ESC 2015:
1. Russia 230
2. Sweden 205
3. Norway 186
4. Poland 171
5. Azerbaijan 158
6. Spain 145
7. Australia 133
8. Estonia 121
9. Italy 109
10. Greece 97
My three favourites in the top 3! I’m pretty sure one of them is a potential winner, Estonia and Sweden kind of have same vibe as Armenia and Sweden last year…dark horses Australia, Belgium. 🙂
ROMANIA WILL WIN IT’S OUR TIME ENOUGHT!!!
ITALY: It’s about strong vocal the song is nothing special it would even be worst without the 3 guys singing it
SWEDEN: It may not be as boring as Italy song but it is nothing special either, it’s fleshy fake I believe Mans would entertain audience to get decent position but sorry not a winner
The one said that ITALY and SWEDEN like Armenia and Sweden last year yes they will be top favourite before esc but not winner, I can smell it
Ofcourse it’s Azerbaijan: Elnur Huseynov with “Hour of the Wolf” to win esc 2015, my number 1 favourite and prediction to win this year
The rank tells itself and it showing pretty much how the songs will be ranked. Albania is going to win and everything is clear here, Albania is being so much pormoted, so i think everything is clear about the winner. Spain and Italy will end up after Albania, Azerbaijan will be helped by turks (all around Europe) so it will end in Top 5, Slovenia will do well, Sweden will be crushed by jury votes, coz the song has nothing special just tech. Estonia will end up in Top 5 too. One thing I’m so sure that the only winner… Read more »
Spain is my favorite! Then it’s Russia and Armenia. Both countries are powerful too.Italy is very nice and I would prefer Italy to win & not Sweden but yeah, Spain is the best!
Azerbaijan!!
Well I want Latvia to win. I think Norway will win.
I hope not Slovenia, Norway, Albania, Australia and Georgien not going to win. Its the worst song this year
Malta is the best Go Amber Good Luck
My personal Top 5
1.Latvia
2.Slovenia
3.Norway
4.Estonia
5.Armenia
I really don’t know who will win, although I really hope Sweden, Italy or Australia don’t win. The songs are good, but nowhere near as good as people make them out to be.
What a horrible and overrated top 3, I really hope none of them break the top 5.
I reckon the top 5 will be Russia, Estonia, Sweden, Norway and Italy.
Spain wont even hit the top ten.
I think that Sweden and Italy won’t win.. It is like Armenia and Sweden last year. For me, I hope that Slovenia,Albania,Belgium or Spain win the competition this year (and also Latvia and France who are very underrated).
Albania is terribly overrated in this poll, oh wow.
I believe Spain, Iceland, Georgia and Russia are really overrated. I don’t mind the others.
My top 5:
1. Norway
2. Latvia
3. France
4. Greece
5. Estonia
My prediction of the top 5
1. Estonia
2. Norway
3. Italy
4. Sweden
5. Australia
Sweden used to be my 2nd but it’s starting to become annoying to me and its almost too perfect (I don’t know how to describe it.)
My Top 5 from the UK: 1: Norway – This one has grown on me so much (Before I didn’t want it to qualify). I just adore this song and believe it has a strong chance of winning. 2: Albania – She would’ve been my first but her live performances have been very disappointing. I can’t rank her any lower however. 3: Malta – I loved this song from the very start but my opinion had changed after the revamp. However after seeing it receive no points in OGAE voting, I was shocked so I listened to it again and… Read more »
Albania, Spain no chance for TOP 5 , maybe not in TOP 10 in final.
My prediction for TOP 5 in final
1.Australia
2.Sweden
3.Azerbaijan
4.Italy
5.Estonia
My TOP 5
1.Norway
2.Italy
3.Slovenia
4.Spain
5.Serbia
Go Elhaida, you have my vote! <3 Go Edurne as well!
Damn my mobile phone….
i hope they land in top 5 (spain&albania)
Italy will lose ESC 2015 in Vienna.
I highly doubt that Albania or Spain will win, but i hop
Albania are not gonna win. Yuo cant voite for your own contry. Sweden or Italy gonna win. And i hope Sweden be the winner.
I dont think Ireland will make the Top 10, its a brilliant song, truly magnificent compared to the over hyped songs, you know what songs I mean, but I just dont think it has enough love to warrant a top 10 position. Its underrated, but its not Sweden, If Molly was representing Sweden or Azerbaijan with Playing With Numbers, it would of course be on everyone’s top 10…which is sad. I hope she at least qualifies. The 60th contest, and Ireland’s 50th Eurovision entrant should be in the final.
Top 5 (in any order): Spain, Estonia, Norway, Azerbaijan, Albania.
I think Slovenia, Italy, Russia, Sweden and Australia will finish off the top 10.
Yes! UK 14th! 🙂
My Top 5:
1.Spain
2.Sweden
3.The Netherlands
4.Belgium
5.Slovenia
Italy is overrated I think and won’t win! Opern voices always flop at Eurovision! I wish that Albania, Slovenia or Spain will win! They deserve it! Estonia and Norway won the contest in 2001 and 2009 and Italy in 1990! Spain last won in 1969! Albania and Slovenia never win before so they deserve it 🙂
I’m finding the top 2 unrealistic. And you can vote for your own country, yes?
My top 5
1. Estonia
2. Belgium
3. Latvia
4. Georgia
5. Norway
First I liked the Swedish entry aswell, but it’s just like an Avicii song (which is typical ’cause it’s Sweden), that you hear a few times and like, but after another few times the song becomes dull and boring.
Albania, Spain and Iceland have really grown on me in the past few days, but I just don’t like Italy’s entry at all. Very overrated.
My Top 5
1. Sweden
2. Azerbaijan
3. Belgium
4. Norway
5. Estonia
