William: Moldova’s Eduard Romanyuta has taken inspiration from his Eurovision 2015 music video. During his first rehearsal this morning in Vienna he went for a police theme, with three dancers and two backing vocalists wearing sexy leather police outfits. There are plenty of moments that will divide viewers: You’ll either think this is super raunchy or super fabulous. Examples: the close-up shots of the dancer’s bum (replete with leather wedgie) and a backing vocalist ripping off Eduard’s vest. This is high-energy, fun and made for TV. His odds to qualify should certainly improve.
Padraig: Sleaze, sleaze, sleaze! Sex sells, but this is just plain creepy. Not a good look. He can keep his stripper cops for someone else. I’m not impressed, and the more conservative jurors are likely to mark this down due to the staging alone (remember Poland last year). That said, the whole thing is memorable. And may help Eduard rise up the rankings, although not enough to qualify.
Chris: Gasps from the press centre audience said it all about Eduard’s performance today. The issue is: even with the shocking, “sex sells” routine, I’m still not sold on Eduard. At the end of the day, I’ve been left struggling to remember much about this and I can’t see it qualifying, even with the problems that several of the other acts have had.

it didn’t sound any better than it was at o melodie pentru europa
say goodbyeeeeee
To me it’s like watching a very cheap, cheesy, fetish low butget movie!
It’s ironic… The first “song” will be my toilet break.
I might change my mind and support Eduard after all for his stage performance.
Today is “Earthquake Eduard day”.
The Svetlana Loboda Award goes to Moldova this year, which doesn’t come as surprise, since the singer is Ukrainian and Ukraine is motherland of tacky performances.
Jurors will give nul points, televoters might give some. Non-qualifier.
Moldova hes much better music
and of course….
better beautiful girls to show up, please make us happy and try a rapid change …
Sorry, that’s by far not my taste at all …..
WTF with the review guys, His vocals were so bad from the uploaded clip on the official youtube channel ….. This shouldn’t qualify if there is any justice in the world.
I think this is a big shame for Moldova
Gawd his vocals sound absolutely awful in this video…
This is just the song needed to open the semi final, so all Europeans once again think “Wow, Eurovision is on, the same gimmicky songs again”. If this qualifies, I’ll lose my faith in humanity.
So hoping this makes it to the final. If it does and Cyprus and Macedonia don’t. I’m voting for it.
Moldovian tackyness. For once more. Can’t he hire a stylist?
I like it, it is very 2006-Eurovision style, which I like.
Damn he sounds bad!
If this tacky off-key mess goes to the final I’m giving up on humanity
crap crap crap .. shit like this gives eurovision a bad name .. awful tacky rubbish
I hate to think it but I think most casual viewers would vote for it based on the catchiness of the song and the gimmicks, which means a deserving song might be knocked out 😛
The singing doesn’t sound so good, does it ? Also if you’re going to go for cops in leather, then need to be proportioned more like Václav Noid Barta.
THIS LOOKS SPECTACULAR! <33333333333333333333333333333333
GO EDUARD <3
vocally he is awful 🙁
You wouldn’t want to be like the Swiss, would you? That would be awful! You’d be rich!
Those costumes are kinky as f**k
