Monday was a long day, as eight acts took to the Eurovision stage for their first rehearsals. Amongst them was Macedonia’s representative, Daniel Kajmakoski. He may have been last up, but he certainly wasn’t feeling any pressure. In fact even though it was a hard day’s work, he found it fun more than anything else. He’s very happy with the staging. He finds the overall effect very beautiful, although the pillars and urban dancers have no special symbolism. Daniel also spoke of his X Factor days, and how Eurovision is a major step up – everyone’s a superstar. His mentor from the show, Zeljko Joksimovic, is writing the Montenegrin entry, but there’s no rivalry between the pair. Or directly from their FB: “The Macedonian team will hand out no promotional materials at the Eurovision this year. Daniel and his team have decided to donate all the funds allocated for promotional trinkets to the pediatric ICU at the Children Hospital in Skopje by gifting them a brand new, much needed medical ventilator. From the friends of OGAE Macedonia – Daniel has given up from creating promo materials and handing them up in Vienna, among the journalists, because he donated the sum needed for that in the Children’s hospital in Skopje, Macedonia (nearly 18000 euros).

You can write something about that, but you would need better source (ask your colleagues from Macedonia).
