Azerbaijan’s Elnur Huseynov was all smiles as he sat down with wiwiblogger William after his first rehearsal. With the help of his lovely translator, who has the sleekest quiff in Vienna, he explained the figurative struggle his dancers — aka, his wolf pack — have on stage. He also talked about going back to the basics of the song: If you thought his performances in Riga, Moscow and Amsterdam were incredible, you ain’t seen nothing yet!
We discuss his transformation from angel (ESC 2008) to wolf (ESC 2015), and ask what it’s like to be such a big star in his native Azerbaijan. He insists that he isn’t. (But after THAT rehearsal, we have to disagree.)
Azerbaijan has one of the best track records at Eurovision, and he’s not prepared to let that slip. From The Voice of Turkey winner, to Eurovision winner? We’ll soon find out!

This guy is true talent and he has one of the best song which has a clear melody that stands out and Elnur’s voice is amazing. I think Azerbaijan to be the 1-st on ESC 2015.

Eknur has good voice and charisma. This is all you need for competition and the rest is not important.

Well, there is only one original version of the song. What Elnur meant to say is that he won’t improvise the song on the stage as he did in Moscow, Riga and Amsterdam.

The dancers are ruining everything. They should keep it simple with just Elnur and maybe a Gospel choir, but no… They decided to put the dancers -.-‘
Honestly I’m really disappointed with Azerbaijan and Albania. Two of my favourites and they ruin for not keeping it simple.
I hope at least on TV you can see something better.
