William: Armenia’s Genealogy just keep improving. During today’s second rehearsal they came with the same fierce vocals and facial expressions, but had clearly tweaked and enhanced their camera angles. The artists all seem to have a greater conection with the camera: It was almost like Inga and Tamar were staring into our souls! The LED floor features the lovely purple-ish map of the world much longer than in the first rehearsal, and the ticking clock floor looks even better. The tick-tick-tick of the visuals gives this rhythm and pace. There were a few stumbles during their first run-through — they tried to form a circle but it went all pear-shaped — but they ironed it out in subsequent takes.
Chris: A really impressive and confident performance keeps Genealogy right at the top of the semis for me. The few issues I had with the first rehearsal were quickly dispelled, with all six members really delivering today. The globe effect on the floor works better with some new camera angles too, as it lingers more to drive the point home. This is surely going straight to the top ten, if not better.

Padraig: Genealogy just get better and better. Fears of a car crash have proven to be completely unfounded. The group have really gelled. There was a moment when they bumped into each other as they entered centre stage, and Vahe still seems like a weak link. But there’s no denying that this will be in the final.

To be 1000% honest,
I think during the 2nd rehearsal all of their Vocals sound intentionally weak. But I’m sure they’re resting their voices for the final. Lighting is great. Camera angles are almost perfect. Attitudes and the bond between the singers are unbelievably awesome. However, they seemed a little bit confused as where to look and where to stand. Especially MJ. But I think these imperfections are minor and they will correct them. As far as the song goes…. I’m still pouty and upset about this song choice. I still love the lyrics, but the music drives me nuts!

The Visuals make perfect sense. The tree is starting to shake exactly the moment when the “disquieting” national theme enters. For those, who know why exactly this year is special for Armenians all over the world and why Armenia’s entry is called Genealogy and what is behind all of it this is an open book to read. Colors: Black symbolizes dark days and sadness and the color of Purple is symbolizing the Future in the Armenian culture. Powerful colors!
On one hand I don’t like the song but on the other hand I’m biased so the positive reviews from the Wiwi Team are… intriguing me xd

I don’t like this kind of songs, it’s just not my thing.. but.. I’m able to see the quality.., so are the juries.
I think they are great. Genealogy is going to be in the final. That’s clear.

I was afraid that 6 people together would sound like a mess on stage but I think this sounds amazing! The 6 unique voices give the song a really nice depth, the staging looks good as well.
I like the design of their outfits but not so much the colour, it looks dull.
Horrible boring song. Armenia may not qualify and doesn’t deserve to.
It sounds like the most terrible number from a musical you have ever heard. This is so bad, I couldn’t wait for it to finish. I think the lowest point was when the tree strated shaking. It couldn’t look more fake.
All the ex-soviets and the diaspora may not be enough to save them this year. This is irredeemable.
The staging looks good. They’ve used the LED screens well and there aren’t any unnecessary flashing lights. But the song remains dire.
The staging looks amazing! Tamar sounded great again but the others….such a shame!
I promised myself that i would not watch any of the full rehearsals but i broke my promise..! 🙁

The song is good enough to pass to the final & with especially a cool performance the chances are increased 4 them to go through.. 🙂
If this gets in the final, it will make Italy lose momentum and most likely keep them away from the top spots. Two epics with classical-like singing are too much.

The voices are great! But togther it’s too much for my taste. But they will qualify. I’m sure of that! Again I must say that’s it’s great you upload all these vids!
It looks a lot better this time around. It’s the kind of song that leaves you stone cold. But in a very good way. I have to say, the Armenians have gone for something very unique by choosing a band who’s members hail from all corners of the globe. This is a qualifier by all means.
It is very different and on tv this will be really cool. I don’t think it is going to end up really high, but we will see. I think the final is sure.
