William: Montenegro’s Knez wasn’t just walking on his LED during his second rehearsal: He was walking on water. The ripples projected on the floor are so memorable, and build on the many natural elements in his: Mountains, sky and rising sun. This builds quietly but with conviction — he’s never in a rush to get the thumping climax around two minutes in. When Knez and his five fly girls start spinning in place the camera spins in the opposite direction. It’s dizzying and delightful. At the end of his performance, as the photo pool clapped, Knez kept his eyes closed for quite a while. He’s clearly taking it all in.

I am not sure how the mountains materialising in the background will look on tv (in these videos it looks like some cheap software display) however it doesn’t change my mind that this will probably be the first qualifier of the evening.

He has definitely sung the song a lot better previously but wow, this is so good to look at! On the night, I am expecting a very professional performance and a comfortable qualification.

Yes Otna I agree with you. He’s singing his heart out for his country and it makes me feel quite emotional, even though I am not from that country. I just love the way he throws his arms back on the last note. When Scott Mills sneers at this I will be very angry.

I don’t understand why are we so underrated this year 🙁
Oh well, I’m proud of Knez! 🙂

In my opinion, that was the best performance + staging combination of all the entries so far – it complements the song so well and it is so majestic <3 Really hope they make it through!
