Giuseppe di Bella isn’t just Edurne’s dancer. He’s also a star in his own right thanks to his many TV appearances on shows such as Tu Cara Me Suena (Your Face Sounds Familiar). wiwiblogger William caught up with Giuseppe the Beautiful after Edurne’s press conference in Wiener Stadthalle. He was in good spirits as he dished on their first rehearsal and their amazing dance sequence.
“When I have to lift her she understands how she has to do this,” he says. “It’s very easy to work with Edurne.”
Does their stage performance interpret Mary Magdalene and Jesus? “I think it’s more Romeo & Juliet post-mortem, after death.” he says. “‘Amanecer’ is about remembering the past, this past love, and she is trying to get over this love she had. I’m like her memory.”
And now he’s a memory for us. Gracias, Giuseppe!
