Chris: Guy Sebastian is here! After a fairly languid performance at his first rehearsal, Guy cranked it up today. Vocally stronger, there was a genuine sense of energy throughout the performance which will no doubt help him around some of the ballads already in the final. At various points the camera cuts to show his fancy footwork . It still doesn’t feel like a Eurovision winning performance, but Guy is doing his all to get it there.

Guy Sebastian’s voice melts a thousand hearts – it is creamy rich and soulful and very powerful. It mesmerises me!

The staging and lighting is clever and stands out.

This is a strong Eurovision entry and I love the song but who knows how other countries will vote particularly if they do not agree with Australia being in the competition at all and taking away from their countries efforts.

I hate this song..
I do not like him either..I saw how he bullied a shy girl on the ‘X Factor Australia ‘ stage, just because she was shy and chubby.

Australia should have sent someone else, they have better singers.

Reminder:

As always the winner takes it all – AUSTRALIA or Italy for me !

At first when i was informed about Australia’s debut guest in our Vision & see Julia Zemiro with her heart on her necklace announcing with pride that the Aussies are about to enter 4 real i was really excited 4 that…But after when i heard the mediocre song & the ridiculous non justifiable hype happened with Guy Sebastian behaving like the clone of Bruno Mars i was just turned off.. I expect Australia at the worst scenario to gather more than 150 points…Less than 100 points is just out of the cas completely.. I can see Guy receiving more than… Read more »

Eugene ESC UK:- -CAMERA ANGLE OF THE VIDEO Hi Eugene, how is life ? Still waiting for your prediction for the big one: ( The Final !) come on , don’t be so lazy, please show us your marks ! hehe (Iam kiddin my friend) I do agree from your point of view & especially from the one only one-static- video which all of us can see . I don’t know why the broadcaster ORF has released it. All I can tell you, many press members did see a different version on TV screens like me, which showed us at… Read more »

@ Mario My Vision Of Gay Love
The song itself is not special, but with such a voice and dancing is great. A good entry at Eurovision is a good song WITH a good voice and a good staging (e.g. moves). If it was a song from other country and of other artist but still with such a voice and dancing I would judge it the same.
btw I didnt like Bonnie Tyler’s song at all – too boring and dated. But it is a matter of taste.

I predict that Australia will receive high top points by UK-Ireland & the most of the western countries but i do not think that will get many points or even any at all by many others that do not belong to this block.. So i want to believe that this will be enough to stop Australia from winning our Vision.. Well even if Guy Sebastian finishes 2nd runner up with only just 1 point gap behind the winner i will not worry & will be happy that at least his song will not have won.. Currently i have it 37th/40… Read more »

@ Thats what i mean…Guy Sebastian with his great skills & the fact that he is top class professional lifted the whole song and made it very appealing to fans like you.. If there wasn’t all this ridiculous hype & this song was from another country & not Guy Sebastian it would definitely NOT liked much by the fans & no one would think that this song is winning material or even worthy of top10.. Its just mediocre & too weak song….You can give all the credit to Guy Sebastian only.. Well if Celine Dion or Adele would enter to… Read more »

@ Eugene ESC UK
I think that many people like this song (including me), because it is fresh, unique, something different in terms of ‘European style”. It sounds just non-European. And his voice and moves are perfect. Nevetheless, I have to admit that I started to like it because of the live performance in Amsterdam. The song on the radio would not attract my attention.

Well shut up please….I do not see any hate at all…We only stated our opinions that this song is not any winning material with being not that good & thats all..

Idiotic answers like yours deserve harsh replies as well..

Im just annoyed with people like you that they think that we have something against the song & our intentions hide malice..

I don’t get it. The staging is horrible. Everybody know that people will vote for them because he is the “guest” and because the name of the country, but they don’t deserve a Top 10. I still hate the idea of having Australia in this contest.

I still don’t get the staging, but if you judge this according to musical factors – it’s probably the best we have this year. Such a great singer and such a lovely song.

Well Australia will definitely finish in the top10…Possibly in top5 too…Top3 too…But i really hope that Guy Sebastian will not be the big winner on Saturday..
His song is too weak at least 4 the victory..
Not winning material song at all of course..

OMG, he sings so well. And how marvellously he dances! The song is catchy and fresh. I have some objections to the staging, but I have to wait till the final to clarify my opinion. I hope it will be in TOP5. I wouldn’t mind if it won. Well-done Australia.
