Chris: Another flawless run-through from Lisa Angell. This vocal angel replaced her blue dress from earlier in the week and now sports a black dress similar to the ones we saw in her earlier live performances during the past month. She was genuinely emotional on stage — she teared up, y’all — and the audience responded: she received loud applause in the press centre — perhaps the biggest of the day. She was so flawless that she actually ended her rehearsal time early after only two run-throughs, but not before she thanked the technical crew for their efforts. A class act through and through.

Flawless vocal performance, fantastic LED in the back, but what to do about the song itself?! I don’t hate it, but it’s just…meh

I’ve loved this song from the first melody. There’s no denying that the lady is an amazing vocalist. The lyrics are beautiful and this song gives me chills. It’s definitely a top 10 material.

I really have nothing to say against this song, but it just doesn’t do it for me. It’s well sung, beautiful lyrics, nice message, but it just feels so old and boring… Definitely doesn’t deserve last place as last year, but shouldn’t make it to the top 20 (it’s 23rd in my personal ranking, right on top of 24. Romania, 25. Germany, 26. UK and 27. Azerbaijan).

Frankly, I can think a million ways to be more impolite than challenging you for a little one-to-one competition

@ wozzeck
I didn’t say that Spain is bad (however I find the staging very kitsch) – it is a good song. I just said that France is better. And you don’t have to be impolite (a personal attack) saying that your homeland will beat my country.

Yeah well @Chris, I don’t know where you are from and, again, I’m not confident with Spain’s chances, but I bet we will beat your country this year.

I agree, it’s far better than Armenia, Greece, Albania and Italy. Unfortunately they are a rich country with not so many expats scattered around Europe to vote for their crap.

Sorry, it should have been: “Italy, Russia, Spain and Albania.”

I think it is much better than the other favourited ballads from Italy, Russia, Italy and Albania. Masterpiece, good luck France!

That LED town is simply amazing and the most tasteful background this year. France deserves to be back in the game.

Well if this wonderful song was competing in 90s or ealy 00s that France had sent the masterpieces ballads of 2001 & 2002 Lisa Angel would be hot favorite to win the Vision..
France can do descently enough ranking in top15-20…
I really do not think that at least the last place of this year’s Vision is saved 4 France again like last year..

Its my 4th favorite song among the 40 <3
I had it even in my 2nd place weeks ago..
{ Holland's song that was my 2nd favorite was eliminated on the SF last night unfortunately.. }
