Leonor Andrade was serving some colour-filled print realness on the red carpet ahead of the Eurovision Opening Ceremony on Sunday. So of course, we simply had to stop and ask her about the dress, as well as her feelings ahead of her performance in the second semi final.
Leonor looked very comfortable in her orange and pink striped dress, created by Portuguese designer Dino Alves. The beautiful singer told us that she was happy with her rehearsals and promised to “go crazy” on the night of the semi-final. She also told us that it was “awesome” to have such support from her very passionate Portuguese fans!
We also asked her about the various versions of her song and she told us that she was most proud of the Portuguese language version, which represented her and her country best. I would like to express my admiration for the Portuguese participation in Eurovision 2015. I am sorry that the song is not competing in the finals. But I listen to it and I still find it uplifting and with that rock edge that is nice. Kudos to the singer and the song writers! And bravo for singing in Portuguese!
I love her song but I can’t vote from Spain, I’ll light some candles tonight and hopefully she’ll make it. Vote for portugal and Czech Republic guys, they deserve it.
I know the song is a little bland and SF 2 has a lot of tough competitors. Main diaspora and neighbouring vote will be absent (France, Belgium, Spain). And I admit singing in Portuguese doesn’t do the song any favours. So, all the odds are against Leonor. But I really hope she comes through. RTP took this year a very small step into the right direction. It would be great if this would be encouraged for the future.
Well really pity that her song is too weak & can’t help her… Its unfortunately my least liked song among the 17 songs of the SF.. I could claim that its the worst song of the Sf but its not the case here as her song is not truly bad…I have it 35th on my top ranking.. It really looks like that Leonor with this black hat & dress that she wears will be prepared 4 her funeral & as she will gonna eliminated die on the SF i guess..
