When Knez arrived on the carpet ahead of the Eurovision Opening Ceremony on May 17, he was flanked by his posse of all-female dancers and backing vocalists. The Montenegrin representative confessed that he was very proud to stand next to the beautiful girls on stage, especially since his daughter Xenia is among them. He told us that having her on stage gives him strength. Apparently so much strength that he later placed ninth in his semi final and 13th in the grand final.
Knez also told us about the beautiful images of Montenegro’s landscape that appeared on his LED. “We want the same atmosphere on the stage as in the video, because the song itself is very ambiental”, Knez said. He encouraged people to follow the song’s message: “Love each other and enjoy it. Love is something special!” We couldn’t agree more!

I think it’s very nice that his daughter was on the stage with him.

i’ve been avoiding listening thevdong right until the semifinal and when i heard i’m pleasantly surprised. it really moved me! too bad its zeljko’s lowest ranking composition tho.
Knez and his lovely dancers/backing singers made the performance fluently and nice-hearing. Though there were pretty much good songs during 2nd semi final, it was not surprised to see him again in the final 🙂
Well honestly i did not expect Montenegro to qualify to the final…
Last year SerGay gathered just 7 points less than Knez and finished 19th…But Knez with his 44 points managed to finish 5 places higher on 13th spot..
This year only few/some songs gathered the great majority of the points…The same songs overall were getting voted so thats why from the 10th place {53 points!} and below all the songs gathered low amount of points…
I may be alone in this but I thought there were far better performances that scored lower – like France, Spain, Greece etc…
He did a great job. Really enjoyed it and his performance stood out.
Didn’t mind the song, but douze points for that impressive (and immovable) forehead. The true star of the show.
He really surprised me. Well done. Great show.
So glad that Knez was able to finish in the top half of the scoring. Well deserved!
They were all spectacular – one of the best performances of the contest!
