Soraya Arnelas — the blonde diva who sang “La noche es para mi” for Spain in 2009 — has tapped into 1970s disco for her latest track “You didn’t do it.” Pre-published this week, it will be the first single of her seventh album, which she’ll launch later this year.
“You didn’t do it” is a huge departure from her last single — the dramatic yet intimate “El Huracan”
. It’s more aligned with her 80’s hits compilation and her dance side. The Spanish singer adopted a Disco Inferno
“sparkling” style that suits her athletic body and sweet face. The funky track is meant to make you move — and it does!
Soraya has also published “the making of” video along with a preview of the lyrics video. The song will be available on digital platforms from 1 June.
“You didn’t do it” will kick off her promotional efforts for her summer tour, which will celebrate her tenth year in the music business.
Congrats on a decade in the business Soraya. We hope you keep on slaying!
