Maraaya from Slovenia showed no mercy at Eurovision 2015. They killed the LED graphics trend, slayed on stage, and slaughtered the red carpet. After their second rehearsal, we talked to them about the concept behind their violinist, why they didn’t release a Slovene version of “Here For You“, and their decision to forgo fancy on-stage graphics in order to focus on their music. They also brought up their two sons: they have no idea that mommy and daddy are famous! Watch the full interview below.

The more I hear about and from these guys, the more I love THEM. I already loved the SONG. I want new music from them on American iTunes. Already following on Facebook. They and Bojana seemed to be intent on keeping their fans engaged.
Sweden was the last country that won with appearing #1 opening the final…But in 1984 those were so different times compared with nowadays.. Its not really ideal 4 a country to perform first.. Especially if its hot favorite to win…With this slot the chances are getting decreased & fewer people will vote 4 this country in televoting.. In 1984 this Vision was the 29th.. @Daniel: Slovenia had to sing first; and these days, singing first automatically knocks you out of the running. No one has won from the opening spot since 1984.

@Mario I thought Slovenia, Estonia and Spain’s performances were simple yet effective, especially Goodbye To Yesterday.
I expected Slovenia to do better to be honest, it was a massive favourite, a balkan country that also has a voting alliance with Austria, Italy, San Marino and Switzerland BUT did perform first which can be a bit problematic.
Now we want the anti version of *Here 4 U* 😛 😛

Slovenia was in the category in the hot favorites songs that underperformed unfortunately..{like Estonia & Spain} Maraaya definitely deserved more points & a higher spot.. The fact that they scored 0 zero nul points in the SF from 3 countries & these three were Sweden(!),Ireland & United Kingdom is such unfortunate.. In the SF they scored 95 points in televoting coming 7th & they scored 84 points in the juries finishing 6th{actually 5th tie with Malta & Ireland} Really interesting that when they gathered 11 more points in televoting they finished on lower place overall..
