Lys Assia won the very first Eurovision Song Contest held in her native Switzerland almost 60 years ago. Since then she has attended all but one contest and is held up as the queen of all things Eurovision by fans around the world. In Vienna wiwiblogger Deban caught up with her to talk about her collaboration with the rap group NewJack, which failed to win the Swiss national selection back in 2012 (she says it’s because the stage in Switzerland wasn’t sufficiently modern). She also gives us her predictions for the 2015 contest (she doesn’t pick Sweden) and tells us what it was like attending the Eurovision’s Greatest Hits concert earlier this year.
