At Eurovision 2015, Georgia’s Nina Sublatti won us over with her feminist rocker vibe and her sick staging. She’s put the epic smoke machine fail behind her and, shortly after returning home, just keeps on slaying. In fact, the “Warrior” singer recently picked the “Golden Wave” Award for Singer of the Year. Judging from Instagram, she is pretty excited:
Organized by Radio Fortuna, the awards recognize singers across a number of categories and are judged by a select group of industry professionals. They were first held in 2013.
This year Nodi Tatishvili — who sang for Georgia at Eurovision 2013 — won Pop Single of the Year for “Pink Boat”.
Anri Jokhadze also picked up a gong.
Nina at Eurovision 2015
Nina Sublatti placed 11th in the grand final of Eurovision 2015. But you probably knew that. How could anyone forget this?
Her voice is good, and I love the song but its not the best because of her pronunciation skills!!
Oh i read that in Georgia in Tbilisi because of a flood in a zoo many animals were unleashed & were running free inside the town…Including wild animals like Tigers..Lions..Bears…Wolves..
Georgia’s ‘Jurrasic Park’..
Way to go, Nina and Nodi. Also, my thoughts and prayers for those in Tbilisi who were recently affected by a flood that swept away some of their people and animals from their local zoo.
My winner! Well deserved.
She is so glam <3 Love her!
Congratulations to this year’s amazon warrior princess Nina! <3
