When Italy declined the opportunity to host Junior Eurovision 2015, a lot of fans worried they may withdraw from JESC altogether. Well cast your fears aside! Today junioreurovision.tv has revealed that Italy will return to defend their title. Confirming their return, Italy’s RAI and RAI Gulp — the broadcaster that airs the show — said they were keen to get back in the game because “this programme for children promotes music as a universal language, which crosses cultural and geographical borders”. Let the children sing!

Italy will select Vincenzo’s successor on September 12 during the first episode of “Ti lascio una canzone”. Yes, the same show that introduced the world to Il Volo, Vincenzo and Federica Falzon!

Wouldn’t care one bit if they decided to pull out. I’d rather listen to Josie singing Game Over again for Croatia.

11 countries, just 1,5 months away from eurovision! This is great! Russia, Serbia and Cyprus will come back i think. I hope Germany debuts and Spain returns, or even greater: POLAND!

Croatia won’t participate tho..
That is unfortunate, but totally expected, maybe they will make place for eurovision now.

And what if they win again? xD
But fun that they do take it seriously and have a national selection now.
