After Ula Lozar sang for Slovenia at Junior Eurovision 2014 with her entry “Nisi sam/Your light”, we were ruul ruul hopeful that Ljubljana would field another contestant in Bulgaria. Well today broadcaster RTV Slovenija confirmed through the official JESC website that they will be there. Yay!

Ula may only have managed twelfth place on Slovenia’s debut appearance, but everyone has to start somewhere and we know RTV Slovenija will be bringing its A-game to Bulgaria in order to take on the competition.

Slovenia’s confirmation will be welcome news for JESC fans after the double withdrawal of Cyprus and Sweden yesterday.

Slovenia’s confirmation means that there are currently ten countries slated to participate in Bulgaria for the 2015 edition.

RTV Slovenija’s selection vehicle remains unclear at this time.

The contest will take place in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia on November 21, 2015 at Arena Armeec.

I know it’s a bit off-topic, but Germany’s broadcaster is currently running an official poll whether they should take part in Junior Eurovision or not:

I really hope y’all are gonna vote 🙂

Good to know! I wouldn’t blame them withdrawing cause they were seriously robbed last year. For me “Nisi Sam” was probably the best Junior Eurovision song to date, closely followed by Bulgaria’s entry.

@ Thank you Daniel..
But since it was about Junior Vision thats why i posted my comment here..
I just tried to made some point actually…But ok…I appreciate it that you care though..
From now on im not really surprised about all these heavy ugly reactions that i have seen from several users not only to me but generally to other people too..
I just rest my case because there is no really need for your mood to get messed up because of minor incidents like that..

Ula deserved more! It was a great ballad. Hopefully Slovenia can do the same again.

@Mario
Sorry that happened buddy, but try to keep stuff that happened on a different article on that article. There’s no point dragging it into different ones. Not trying to be rude, just a tip :). Hope it doesn’t happen again! (This is not a hateful comment- it’s a tip)

Oh that was really WTF that on the wiwi article about Sweden & Cyprus withdrawals when i expressed justifiably my worries about only 10 countries confirming their participation 4 this year’s Junior Vision someone hella rude user replied to me : to get a life & that my comment made no sense! Like i should really know necessarily that its still too early and that more countries will confirm their participation..? With the host country of our adult Vision SWEDEN(!) & Cyprus pulling out did i really have to be optimistic?? When i saw his response i got really annoyed… Read more »

@ Well hold on amigo…They only took part once…We have to wait & see how it goes…If the sLOVEnians keep bombing or underperforming unjustifiably with too good songs then we should start discussing about whether they should withdraw or not..

Well sLOVEnia has never won the Junior Vision yet…Actually they just debuted last year.. 😛
The sLOVEnian entry in the JESC of Malta was penned composed by Maraaya of Marjetka & Raay <3 🙂

Who knows…Maybe sLOVEnians can get lucky & hit the jackpot of victory on just their 2nd attempt only! Its not like we are going to have too many participant countries so this scenario is much more possible to happen on the Junior Vision at least..

Yes!!!
Now question is if Raay will continue his involvement? Or if Slovenia will join the national final route.
