Is it possible to combine themes of love and family with a robbery, sunshine and flashbacks to The Fast and the Furious? Helena Paparizou would say yes.
The “Surviror” singer, who is touring Sweden this summer, has released a brand new clip for “Love Till It’s Over”, her EDM collaboration with HouseTwins.
At the beginning of the video we see a young girl quarrelling with her father, who won’t let her go out (#so_cliche). The girl proceeds to sneak out her house, and manages to find the man of her dreams, who, as luck would have it, happens to be a thief. They kiss, they ride a motorbike….and he robs a supermarket with a handgun. Then they head to the beach — just chillin’ after a robbery, y’all. When the cops show up her friends ditch her and she gets arrested. Thankfully her father manages to spring her from the big house. We suspect he won’t be letting her out of the house again any time soon…
All the while the HouseTwins ride around in fancy race cars, while Helena walks along a highway. And they all live happily ever after.
