FYR Macedonia will send a child to #discover Junior Eurovision 2015 in Sofia!
Vladislav Yakovlev, the Executive Supervisor of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, confirmed the news via Twitter earlier today:

FYR Macedonia is the second nation to return to the JESC-sphere this year, after neighbouring Albania announced its comeback earlier this year and decided on its contestant just days after Eurovision.
FYR Macedonia’s return comes after a one-year absence. In 2013 their starlet Barbara Popovic placed last with “Ohrid i muzika” — a fierce dance number that got some members of our in-house jury moving. “Can we get Barbara some boots because this is a real floor-stomper,” one juror wrote. “I love everything about this: Barbara’s energy, the frenetic choreography, the rhythm, the melody and, most of all, the fact that Barbara manages to sing while moving constantly.”
Even if the country has only placed in the Top 5 twice, they always bring upbeat Balkan-pop which leaves an impression. Are you as excited as we are?

Norway and Denmark has been quiet, hopefully they also return, but that will not happen.

I really like the 2013 song, although, I’ll admit that it’s very much my style. I know that style doesn’t work for everyone (we’ve seen it dissapoint at adult ESC multiple times in the past few years).
This here are good news 🙂 So now we have 13 countries in JESC 2015 🙂 Hopefully my country will finally debut this year! I also hope that Spain will be finally come back to JESC! Hopefully Tv4 in Sweden will do JESC! And if Russia, San Marino and Serbia will be also participating, then we have 19 countries 😀 Hopefully the maximun of participating countries go up to 20 countries so that 19 countries can participate 😀
I hope they don’t end up last again! Otherwise they will probably withdraw again.
14 countries in this years JESC. Yes 1 couse San Marino is in!!! I said that in earlier comments!!!!! Look at them! Butt still, i am happy and this is the second unexpected confirmation since the one from San Marino. Still waiting for Russia, Serbia, TV4 for Sweden, Spain and Germany!

If only my country Greece could make the GreAtY comeback returning to Junior Vision after so many years of being absent from JESC..
I recall that we truly deserved to win in 2005 with our GreAtY fantastic song that year but sadly we only finished just 6th! :'(

And possibly with more countries returning or debuting this number will be increased more 🙂

However Barbara’s song is one of the worst songs ever in JESC in my opinon, and honestly I doubt I’m the only one to think that..
