Michael von der Heide bombed at Eurovision 2010. The internally selected Swiss representative and his song, “Il pleut de l’or” (It’s Raining Gold), garnered a mere two points and finished bottom of the second semi final. However, the flop is back on top with his latest release “Pas Vu Le Temps Passer”, or “Didn’t See The Time Pass”.
The track, which is about how life passes by so quickly, tells us to cherish music and friendship. In Micheal’s words, “songs, music and wonderful friends during a lifetime can bring hard or funny moments”. It could be interpreted as autobiographical given that he is credited as a writer alongside Maurizio Pozzi and André Grüter.
We always love a chunk of Swiss cheese, and “Pas Vu Le Temps Passer” fits the bill ideally. Add in a dance beat and we’re happy out. The music video keeps things simple. Michael stands in front of a purple backdrop, showcasing a range of personalities and a varied wardrobe. This stripped-down effort offers us a window into Michael’s mind, and the playfulness within.

The single is the first cut from the upcoming album “Bellevue”, which is scheduled for a 4 September release. The track is already storming the Swiss airplay charts, and sets things up nicely for the EP.

Well yeah it is obvious that this singer is gay…Anyway..
Its just an ok song…Nothing really special if you ask me..
Plus,his esc visionary song in the Vision of 2010 was just forgettable & boring to be honest…Of course he didn’t deserve to qualify to the final..
I still enjoy listening to It’s Raining Gold. It deserved a better result. I like Michael’s new song too.
