Minsk has decided — and the televoters and the jury agreed on the result! During tonight’s national final Ruslan Aslanov won the right to represent Belarus at Junior Eurovision 2015 with his song “Volshebstvo“. Despite a tough field, he earned over 5,000 votes to win the televote, and also received top points from the jury. 12 + 12 = 24…and a landslide win.

Earlier that evening, Nadezhda Misyakova, last year’s winner,  opened the final with a reprise of “Sokol”. But she wasn’t the only star on show. 2013 contestant Ilya Volkov hosted, and former Belarusian JESC artists Yuri Demodovich, Lidia Zablotskaya, Egor Volchek, Alina Molosh (from the girl trio Dasha, Alina & Karina), Egor Zheshko and Eurovision 2015 representive Uzari paid a visit to the final.

Ruslan was third in our poll, so are you pleased with the final result?

Winner: Ruslan Aslanov with “Volshebstvo”

It seems that Belarus will continue to be a powerhouse in the JESC.

This entry is a worse version of Il Volo – Grande Amore. Here are copied the worst things from those Italian entry. Two shots, but very poor quality. The song and the background are total muck.

9/10

Bejeweled realness! This song is fantastic – very mature and inspiring. I think they should revise the opening of the song; it doesn’t grab attention fast enough. Right now, it takes until the 00:30 mark for the uniqueness of the song to become apparent.

The song lends itself to a memorable stage performance (what they already have looks great). This could be the winner!

Plus+ To add with 1 more comment if you don’t mind.. Well Ruslan’s song might was my 4th favorite before the NF yesterday but now i do not think that it was really inferior to my #1 favorite of Zinaida’s…Pretty much both these songs were equally good.. 4 the standards of JESC it is really nice song & can do great in the EuroVision of Bulgaria in November.. We will see how well Belarus will gonna do with this one.. I think that to see Belarus even winning 4 a third time in our Vision is a likely scenario 🙂… Read more »

I’m really excited for Belarus this year. Albania is great too.

I expect big things from:

Netherlands
Ukraine
Ireland (Woo hoo!!! 🙂 )
Georgia
Armenia
Italy
Bulgaria
Malta
Montenegro
Russia

This really could be the strongest Junior Eurovision Song Contest ever. It could also be the closest JESC as well. 🙂 🙂 🙂

I really like this!

Albania is ok and this is great – Congratulations!
I only watch JESC since last year (and listented to a few songs of 2013)

My winners:

2013 – Ukraine
2014 – Bulgaria (or Cyprus)
2015 – Belarus (well… of the 2 songs)

All entries from Junior Eurovision 2013 and 2014 were better than this. This can not even be called a song. This is a total muck.

Congratulations to this boy…He had a nice song…It was my 4th most liked song from the 10 for the record.. The 2 hot favorites & my 2 most liked songs Zinaida & Elizaveta didn’t make it though.. Zinaida at least managed to finish 3rd in the juries when Elizaveta did terribly finishing 8th there…Overall Zinaida finished 4th & Elizaveta 5th… Unfortunately Zinaida did not do well in televoting & finished 6th when Elizaveta was voted 2nd there.. I really do not know why Zinaida underperformed in televoting & was not voted by belarussians with just earning a 6th place there…A… Read more »

Wow – that was amazing. I wasn’t expecting much, but I expect Belarus to be my favorite come November. This is already shaping up to be the strongest JESC ever by a massive margin.

Ruslan’s voice is really powerful and he is really talented.
Song is great and impressive, with right staging, it could be top song.

I had a feeling he would win and he is a talented kid. But he is such a overreacting diva when he sings with an forgettable song. I prefer Albania over this.
